My child has been going to this school for 3 years and little has changed. There are server bulling situations that the school does little to nothing about. The administration rather ignore kids needs and pick favorites. School board members and teachers seem to be more worried about keeping things quiet then correcting bulling. The education is very poor. They take little to no time with kids individually to help with leaning. The school rolled out tutoring for all students due to such low scores (1 hour after school a day). I had to involve a 1 on 1 personal tutor in order to review the lessons being taught in school for my child. This school should be an absolute last result to base your child's education on. Homeschooling or any other option would be better than this school.

While there are not a lot of options for Middle Schools in the area, I don't necessarily recommend this school either. Their PE teacher plays favorites and is abrasive and while behavior doesn't seem to be a huge concern, I am not sure their academics are being met properly. Teachers (from my experience - multiple children who have gone there) are seemingly forced to rush through the curriculum and it leaves behind a lot of students who struggle. If your child is bright they will succeed easy here, but if they struggle, good luck.

This school has poor leadership with poor moral ethic's when it comes to children with sever disabilities . This school need's to be schooled on special education. Where was the compassion that other's wrote about in the reviews. There was none toward my son diagnosed with autism. Attention to Parents with a disabled student! send complaints to the Louisiana Board of Education.

I see reviews are from 2009. Here's an update. So far all I seen from this school is bullying, and perverted young boys. Teachers need to pay closer attention and show you care when a child tells you about some type of bullying.
