- Submitted by other on September 11, 2016I would like to say that there are many emotional responses regarding education, but I would just like to point out a few facts.1. The religious teachings offered by the school are quality and scriptural.2. The elementary AND JH/HS teachers are ALL qualified IN the field in which they teach. Yes, they did have a time where they were understaffed, but hiring a qualified fundamental Christian teacher is not a cake-walk, especially in technical subjects.3. The graduates are in both secular and Christian colleges around the world, and they are succeeding.4. The programs offered by the school are growing and expanding, especially with the INCREASE in enrollment.Thank you CCS for serving the community with love and compassion.
- Submitted by parent on February 11, 2016Unfortunately the academics at this school are not on par with national and state standards. My children are behind in writing and critical thinking skills, as well as reading comprehension. The focus is rote memorization, not critical or logical thinking. There is no PTO or parent group to lobby for change or make voices heard. School is run by bureaucrats and lots of turnover with teachers, administrators, etc. The teachers are under-qualified and many are teaching subjects they have no experience in (example is that an English teacher is teaching Science at the high school level). If you value your child's education and want to provide them with real opportunities for the future as far as colleges and career, think twice before enrolling here.
