I feel that students at this school are very rude, mentally unwell, there's lots of cussing, a girl vaped in my face as I was coming out of the bathroom, bullying is a big problem as well. The school staff makes a visible effort to try and change the attitudes of students, but it never works. Some of the ELA teachers are really snippy, and there's a teacher that makes most of the female students feel uncomfortable. Other than that and the principles, I'd say the staff is pretty nice. They keep doing a lot of renovations and schedule changes, that's very stressful, I go to the wrong class by accident sometimes. Just be cautious of where you send your kids to get an education.

This school is the absolute worse that I have ever dealt with. The teachers act like they are the end all be all of the school. They treat the parents as if we are nothing. Some teachers are very rude, disrespectful, and discriminatory against children of color and those with disabilities. And this all comes as no surprise, because the administration (principal, etc.), are beyond incompetent with managing their staff.

Im a student at BRMS and the staff and teachers are nice and helpful and I especially like how most teachers WANT you to pass their class (which is surprising cause most want you to fail for some reason). The place is overall great in my opinion, except the students are a little... crazy. They make sexual references and curse a LOT. But when they find out about sexual references or fights or other Inappropriate things, they handle it immediately. Other than that, its perfect in my opinion.

The staff is beat down. They can't advocate effectively for themselves nor their students. The teachers are gagged to talk to the parents and public by actions that can and have been taken by the administration and downtown. Like if you say anything that is not on the permission list, next year you get all students who are on grade level 1 without an assistant. This means they use the poor kids as cudgels against the teacher. She is overwellmed and can't be an effective techer because the principal loaded her down with students who do not follow instructions. Just because they are "highly rated" on a system that is suspect at the least is not a reason to send your child here.

I'm a student at Braden River and it is an amazing school. The teachers really care about us and are really fun. We have rewards for good behavior and grades. They offer many extracurricular activities. Ofcourse there are occasional fight and such but that's only because you can't put almost 1,000 adolescents in one place and not expect conflict. I'm currently an 8th grader and my past two years have been the best school years of my life and this year is starting of to be the best ever. If u are considering letting your child enroll in this school don't listen to parents who don't experience what the students experience everyday at school. Listen to an actual students who says it the best school I have ever been to!

This school is horrible. It is full of drugs and criminals and the school teachers have completly lost control of the students. Dont bother to try and talk to anyone about being unhappy with it either because they dont care.

My daughter is a 6th grader at this school.. I would rate this school average. Some teachers are very active with parent involvement and send emails daily updating homework and materials, while other teachers do not follow up, even after multiple emails and phone calls have been made. I do like the FOCUS website where you can view all of your childs homework and test scores, but multiple times grades have been entered wrong and I've had to follow up with teachers to get it fixed. Its disappointing that I have to babysit the teachers. I am happy with the strictness of rules and that they are inforced, but I am disappointed with the culture of the school. I hear regularly of fights happening at school, my daughter complains about the constant vulgar language and my daughter was also offered drugs at school. Luckily she is smart and communicates openly with me so we solve those problems at home, but its still scary to think about what happens when she is there. I am not naive to believe that middle schoolers do not deal with the above mentioned, but it just seems like it happens more than usual at this school.
