My children went to this school and I loved it they had a great teacher her name was Mrs. Palumbo. My daughter was in her class for 1&2 and I was praying for my son to be in her class when he was done with kindergarten, When the school year came around he was in her class for 1st grade. He didn’t get to finish 1st grade because we moved, however I knew Mrs. Palumbo would have taught him very well. The confidence she taught my daughter my daughter is in the third grade she took the FSA for the first time and scored high on her FSA. Miss Palumbo she does not play but she is a good teacher.

The community at this school develops strong character through R.O.A.R.S it stands for Respect, On time, Attitude, and Safety. Most of the teachers really help students with learning differences thrive through this method of develop strong characteristics and to sometimes even get them writing scribes if the student needs it. Bullying at this school is mostly ignored for the students to solve. If the bullying gets solved or even the bully becomes a friend instead then they become a Safety Patrol. But not all bullies are like that some may act like your friend in order to get the safety patrol belt for gain instead of for the well being and safety of the students. The Leadership used to be intimidating in 2011 because of the round ups how so suddenly kids had to be directly organized from car riders to walkers at dismissal at the front gate. Until later when it actually meant to prevent even more chaos. But mentally it might have created chaos because at first many students and anxious parents thought they were in trouble or something. If you don't do your homework then some teachers will actually make the student write. "I will do my homework until June." over and over until class is over. The learning differences, there was this one kid that really thrived in Speech Class due to the method of instilling encouragement and extra help with writing and reading!
