Unity School is a warm and welcoming environment for all the children. Unity encourages students to embrace others and their differences. That alone allows students to learn at their own pace and explore unconventional ways of learning. I appreciate the expertise of Unity's faculty and teachers and respect their ability to guide students to achieve the best attitude and camaraderie that carries into life outside of school.

I've been very happy at Unity. Finding the right school for my family was not easy. We looked at many schools, but each comes with it's own culture. The trick is finding the right fit! From the moment we toured, we felt the warmth. The teachers were smiling and looked happy. The students of all ages came over and said hello. They smiled genuinely and seemed to take great pride in what they were doing in each class. We saw preschoolers reading and doing math, quantifying beads all the way to 9000 - it was incredible. As they go through the grades, the lessons and units become more complex and it's exciting to see it all happening. Children are safe and protected - 2 armed guards, emergency buttons in each room and class, gated campus, and practice runs all made me feel that Unity was the right place for our kids. The new Head of School is wonderful and it's obvious that teachers are excited to be part of the team and it looks like professional development is being offered to everyone. That's always a great sign when choosing a school.

A unique and small school with excellent education, a robust community and a well rounded program for both students and staff. I'm a parent and staff member, with a unique perspective of both. Go Mustangs!

I love how Unity has such a holistic philosophy of educating and empowering the whole child. Teachers are aligned with Unity School’s well-balanced curriculum that includes rigorous academics, technology, music education, arts, sports education, and of course, its hallmark Lessons in Living curriculum. There is always a focus on improving, progressing, and adapting to the world around us, as well as being a force for positive change.

By far the best PreK - 8 school in Palm Beach County. The family friendly campus and the happy students and teachers are truly one of a kind. When you walk onto the campus, you can immediately see and feel the happy, warm environment. My children have learned to not only be kind, giving, and compassionate, but value learning. The new Head of School has completely enhanced an already terrific school. The Lessons in Living Program teaches the students to accept all faiths and people and to be open to learning from others. Students are intelligent, compassionate, articulate, can collaborate with others and learn how to solve problems with kindness. In addition, the two full time officers, the locked campus, and the other safety systems in place make me feel that my children are safe and protected. What a gift this Unity School is to the Delray Beach/Boynton Beach communities.

We have attended Unity School for 6 years and each year we excitedly register for the following school year. The atmosphere resonates of care, motivation and focus on the whole child. There are wonderful opportunities for enrichment outside of the curriculum and the school teaches to the individual childs learning style. The school community of children, parents, teachers, faculty and staff feels like family, in that everyone is focused on the success of the kids - at their current moment and beyond their young school life.

Amazing education plain and simple. We’ve had two go through Unity one is still enrolled and the other is in high school at the top of her class. Possibly the small environment isn’t for everyone but I find it not cliquey at all rather very family friendly and inclusive. Fantastic environment for those looking for strong academics with a homeschool type environment.

My littles have attend Unity School and have been for a few years now. I’m proud to say this is the last year we will be involved with this school. The faculty lacks depth, empathy, and understanding on incorporating the real world into their teachings. This is a hippie dippie style school that is incredibly superficial. The school is cliquey in addition to the mothers and faculty. They speak to your children as if they have 3 brain cells and make them feel less than. They lack a proper backbone to insure children will be prepared for real world issues and the magnitude of high school academics. They get you by saying how inclusive and welcoming to creating an encouraging environment they are but quite literally do the opposite. Prepare for your little ones to need therapy after graduating. If you truly want your children to thrive or simply just be in alignment with who they are as individuals you are better off sending them elsewhere. This school lacks culture and suppresses one’s beliefs and religions that don’t agree with “white” America. Also if you do not donate after they pressure you with their multiple fundraisers a year and events they will take it out on your kids. If you don’t gift teachers or faculty gifts for the holidays they will ignore your child. Don’t get me started on the sports department. If you enjoy watching you children win in both male and female sports look at a different school as they lack skill to teach them competitiveness and that winning is the goal not their attendance. I don’t get a paycheck or applause from my boss by just showing up to work, why do they teach students that simply stepping foot on a field deserves a trophy. Protect your children, their mental health, and truly nurture their potential and highest good by sending them elsewhere.

Cute school but they do not hire top teachers. They obtained the 3 PPP loans during covid yet required their teachers to take a paycut anyway. They only have 1 security guard and the campus is open on 2 sides to the public - only protected by a low fence and hedges. 5th-8th grades are in trailer/temporary buildings thst smell like mold and have been in use for almost 10 years now. Their cafeteria head serves meals that are high in fat, cholesterol and carbs while the school reprimands kids for bringing in yogurt that has fruit in the bottom. They dont teach the kids to excel but rather solely be compassionate and be a team teaching to the lower or slower learners. They have many fundraisers where parents are guilted into donating - when there are parents already struggling to pay the tuition. This is a good place for pre-k snd kindergsrten because at these levels they teach at each childs pace and compassion, kindness and patients are only needed. Great foundation place only…academically? You’re setting your kids up for stress and struggling at any decent highschool!

We feel blessed to be at this school. The academics are top notch (best in the area hands down!). They focus on a program called Lessons in Living that focuses of giving back to the community, treating others with respect and kindness and overall helping the children grow into beautiful human beings. One cannot step onto campus without feeling part of the community/family that makes Unity so special. They focus on creating well rounded children and the development of the whole child. They instill a great sense of confidence with public speaking, which starts in the youngest grade. This school is truly special and we are so grateful for the opportunity to watch our child grow and excel here.

The administration made very poor choices for my child. They did not really take the time to get to know my child. They completely missed the mark when it came to placing my child in the proper classes. As a parent I did not get to make any educational decisions for my child. There are some good teachers but they seem not to work together as they give a lot of projects and tests at one time.

My best school experience. Classmates were great, teachers were very good, administration was friendly and approachable. Good healthy culture.

This small school is overall an all-around excellent environment. I disagree with the review below stating that intelligent students are not challenged...our children definitely were and both have achieved accolades for academic achievement in and outside of the school. The aspects that we love the most are the encouraged parent involvement and that they’re not overloaded with homework. This allows kids to be kids and they maintain a healthy mindset by being challenged yet not overly pressured. No school is ever perfect, but Unity does a very good job of being close!

Good school for an average intelligence child but if you have an extremely intelligent child it’s not the best. Not academically challenging at all.

We have been incredibly happy at Unity, and 100% believe it has helped shape our children to being the best version of themselves. The academics are a year ahead of the public schools and (even gifted programs). In addition, the school is not focused on state testing, not over-crowded and has the luxury of giving each children one on one attention and teaching to their needs. Your child is never just a number. Students are taught much more beyond academics, but how to be loving, compassionate and confident human beings. All of the parents are incredibly family-focused, and see their children as their most important asset.

We joined the Unity School family over 3 years ago and have never looked back. Our children are loved, engaged and encouraged to do their best on a daily basis. The school combines strong academics with lifelong skill building to create the most well rounded, thoughtful leaders. We feel blessed to be able to send our children to Unity School.

We have been there since kindergarten and my son is now in 3rd grade. We won't leave this place a minute before he has to!! The community is so wonderful and the education is fantastic. Just at this very moment my son is learning recorder, cursive handwriting, performing in a play, in chess club, in chorus and handbells. Where else do you get opportunities like this?! And they get better every year.

We have been at the school for 9 years and plan to stay until our son graduates 8th grade! Would not even consider leaving.

We love Unity School! From the first day, at 2 years old, Unity made our daughter and family feel at home. They encouraged the family to be involved - from classroom events to dads club trips to the PTO. (But did not require involvement). The friendships that our family has made here will last a lifetime. Unity develops the whole child - their self confidence, their academic, their social skills. Our daughters thrived in this environment. Unity helped each child find what interested them the most. Unity offers arts, music, technology, sports, lessons in living, theater, and many after school programs. Our daughter believes this ability to experiment in many activities in a non-judgemental environment gave her the confidence to find the things she really loves. Unity states that they teach one year in advance. This has appeared to be true as our students were often exactly one year ahead of other area schools. This becomes important as they are moving in to high school. Every child experiences setbacks, challenges, and disappointments. It was in each of these times that the staff at Unity School was priceless. The teachers are so caring and know your child. Going to them for advice was tremendously helpful. Whether it was a PE coach suggesting a new sport, or solving the issue with humor, or a teacher providing encouragement when needed, the staff truly cares about your child. When evaluating a school, it is hard to know what you are looking for and what is most important. After spending 15 years at Unity, I can say this. We wanted a school that provided a place for our child to learn and grow. For the child to become self motivated, self confident. A place where they felt safe. A place where they would thrive. We found all this and more at Unity School. Our daughter's were both able to get in to the high school of their choice when it was time to move on from middle school. We will always be grateful for the time spent at Unity - we could not imagine a better school.
