We have been at St Vincent for 5 years and could not be happier! The teachers and staff are wonderful. The security is great. My children love it!

We recently transitioned our child to public school and are very happy about our decision. We have found since the move that the academics are more rigorous. Our child has special needs and although we realize that private schools are limited in what they can accommodate, we have found since our child’s transition that the accommodations previously in place were not being carried out with fidelity.Since we have moved our child to public school we have also come to realize that the concerns presented to us as parents were most likely not an accurate representation of what was occurring in the classroom. Our priority as parents is to ensure we are making the most informed decisions on how to best help our child succeed. We found that the school was not communicative or transparent as it pertains to student behavior and academics.Had we realized the amount of additional support our child needed early on, we would have made the decision to switch sooner. We will always look back fondly on the many faith based events and weekly school Mass.In time we hope that St. Vincent and the Diocese can work together to better accommodate students accepted with disabilities to make a more inclusive environment.

My kids have attended St. Vincent’s for the past 3 years. We had previously been at another school that we weren’t happy with. Our family is extremely happy with SVF. The curriculum that St. Vincent’s offers is beyond exceptional. Our children are being challenged & they are exceeding all test scores. This school reinforces our kids to think for themselves. The school offers excellent Catholic/Christian experience. For the most part the students respect one another & are kind to each other. The teachers and staff are caring and friendly as well. They care about each & every one of their students. Their goal is to have each child succeed & it shows with their dedication. The principal is strong and focused. We have seen & heard from other parents on how she handles difficult situations fairly. She doesn’t tolerate any bullying and handles it very seriously. There is so much for students to do for extracurricular activities. There are sports (there are so many banners of championships to count), Drama, Music & different clubs. This school instills the importance of civic duty and community service. This school has a great community feel.Above all, our kids are happy here. There are not enough great things to say about this school.I wish I could give them a 10 out of 10.

Does not provide a Catholic education. Bullying is rapid and the administration does not address the issue. Students are treated differently based on social-economic status. Stay away. If I could give 0 stars I would have. we will not be returning to this school.

Our children attend the elementary school at SVF, and we could not be happier. The school has an outstanding team of teachers as well as support and administrative professionals going above and beyond to make the school experience flawless. Most of the members of the school team have been working at the school for years. As a mother, I am very happy to know every one at school to be able to address anything that I may need with respect to my kids’ academics, health, or administrative matters. I also really appreciate the constant dialog with the homeroom teachers which allows me to know exactly how my children are doing. I enjoy very fair amount of homework my children are assigned daily (compared to public school). The website/application used at the school for posting grades is very helpful and is updated daily as records become available. Such efficient system allows students and parents to know the status of grades and classwork/testing/homework performance.I would like to commend the music and drama department at the school which most children truly enjoy. The director of the music department, Eric Keiper, has a wonderful personality and truly loves what he does.We are looking forward to participating the school sports as soon as our kids are eligible. The sports program is great and accommodates various interests. Most importantly, our children are happy, safe and thriving. I have not heard once from them that they do not want to go to school.

I'm sure it's better than public school, if only in academics. What's important to me is that my son be educated in a Christian environment surrounded by people who keep the Great Commandment and base their decisions on what Jesus would do. That is absolutely not the way they do things at St. Vincent Ferrer.

I am grateful I chose to teach here. The staff and parents here form a warm, gracious, supportive community that is a rare treat in education.

The success of an organization, business, group, pack, school comes from the direction of its Leader! The Principal of St. Vincent School, Mrs. Delgado is an amazing Leader. She has an “All Hands on Deck” approach and is constantly working toward the best environment for our children with her entire team. The culture that exists at the school is one of consistency, transparency, equality, and love! It is so nice to have everyone on the same page. The parents are equally as involved. We have met some amazing lifelong friends here. We are so grateful to be a part of the SVF community and family ...and have our children attend the school.

St. Vincent Ferrer is our second home! The Faculty, Staff and Administration truly love and care for our children. Each day I know that they are in a safe, learning environment that is challenging yet fun!! Each day they pray in class and become that much closer to God. I know my husband and I made the right choice sending our children to SVF, it’s the best school we’ve ever had the privilege to be a part of.

We wish we hadn’t enrolled our children here. There are so many better options.

We wouldn’t recommend this school to anyone. Bullying of students & parents, favoritism, hypocrisy, politics & lies

We love our school. As parents we feel tremendous support as we try to guide and form our children. We feel a responsibility to give as much as we receive...it's a partnership. In an increasingly secular and materialistic society, we celebrate that our children continue to be taught Gospel values - to love God with all their heart, mind, soul and strength and to love their neighbor as they love themselves.

St. Vincent Ferrer School and Parish is our home away from home! We're extremely blessed to have a Faculty, Staff and Administration who will go above and beyond for our children. Whenever you go into the school, you are greeted with smiles and the office is so incredibly helpful and nice! I know that when I drop them off for school in the morning they will be in an excellent learning and nurturing environment and will be challenged daily! I love that they start their mornings off with prayer and end with prayer. I know that my children are safe and more importantly they love their school as much as I do!!

Our son has been a student at St. Vincent Ferrer School for seven years, since Pre-K. He is in the fifth grade now. I am a former college professor, and my wife works for a local non-profit. We moved to Delray Beach from the northeast nine years ago. We are all active in the St. Vincent parish and school, so we have had plenty of opportunities to observe the school closely. Let me begin by saying that it is a wonderful place. The church, the parish, and the school are one community and live the Catholic tradition with great energy, joy, and conviction. Go to the Friday Student Mass, which is full of parents and parishioners, and you will see what SVF is all about. SVF has been wonderful for our son, who is happy, hard-working, and proud of his school. The faculty is talented, committed, and stable. The administration is excellent, the atmosphere upbeat and cheerful. As far as requests for donations to the school, people give according to their means, and that is the end of it. But then again Catholics are always “giving,” which is different. In the Catholic tradition, giving, helping, sacrificing, and volunteering is what is expected. SVF is exemplary in this regard. We have been deeply impressed with the school and parish community’s dedication to charitable causes, whether in the community or their missions. It is an inspiration to the students and important to our son.Aside from the core subjects, the curriculum offers excellent enrichment in the form of art, drama, and music. The athletic program is terrific. Students are challenged; hard work is expected and rewarded; good behavior is the norm; and faith is what holds it all together. The positive atmosphere is palpable. While the school is by no means perfect--no school is--we have noticed that problems, whether academic or disciplinary, are handled quickly and efficiently, with little fanfare. The principal, who is smart, experienced, and discrete, does not allow problems to fester. It is clear to anyone paying attention that the mission of the school is, plainly and simply, to help their students. SVF is a hard-working place with high expectations. It is a gem of a school and a credit to the Catholic tradition of education. If you send your child here, you won’t be sorry. Our son loves the place.

As stated in other reviews some aspects of the school are great, however students are not treated fairly. The more money you give the more your child can get away with. Rules and dress code are enforced for some but not others. The school was much better before the building fund, now all they care about is money.

I have had 2 children at this school and they have done extremely well in high school. I still have one child at St. Vincent's. We came from a public school where there was bulling. Every morning was a challenge for my third to go to school, but now at St. Vincent's she loves it and has made wonderful friends. They staff truly care for their students. The do NOT tolerate bullying at this school and the teachers go above & beyond to make sure their students understand the curriculum. All students are treated fairly, sometimes parents who have children who have disciplinarian problems, do not want to admit that their child must have the problem. Some teachers have been here 10-25 years. To have your children happy and doing well is all that matters.

My kids have been at this school for four years. The first two years were great. The lower grades are fine. The middle school is where the problems start. The teachers do not treat children fairly. Kids who parents donate to the school are allowed to get away with anything. My daughter has been teased and bullied and the teachers do nothing. Rules are enforced for some and not others. Teacher turnover has been high the last two years. If I had it to do again I would send my children to the elementary school and move them for middle school. This is what I will be doing with my younger children.

My children have attended this school for the past couple of years.I am a single mother and moved from another state, mid school year and we were welcomed by all. My children have done extremely well and are above average in National Testing. There is plenty to do after school activities. The staff truly cares for the children & the students are very kind. We are extremely happy at SVF
