My grandson transferred to South Tech in the second semester as he was falling behind in the school he was attending. He was feeling overwhelmed with bullying and anxious everyday. Since attending South Tech he has settled in and has excelled in his classes. The teachers communicate well with me when I have had concerns and seem to engage him when he’s slacking in his school work. I am so glad we transferred him!!!

My grandson loves this school. He’s happy overall with most of his teachers and all of his classes. I do feel that he is supported and his needs are met. I also wish that the grades would be put in sooner rather than later as it’s important to stay on top of them. I think this is a wonderful school for kids that need smaller class areas and teachers and staff that really care about the Student and all of their dynamics! everyone at the school is supportive, kind, on top of behavior, and really help helps the student succeed!! We are thankful that we found the school for our grandson and that he really likes the learning process and his teachers!

Overall I like the school, however, certain teachers take forever to respond to simple questions, sometimes over three days or more. Grades are put into a great system, but sometimes put in very late (weeks). This is not to criticize more so to assist in bettering the school. A lot is great but the above could be much better, this has been my experience and are facts with proof. This is the point of ratings right? To be better as we can all be better.

STPA is a wonderful small middle school with caring staff and teachers. I am proud to work at this school and with our students.

I loved going to SouthTech Preparatory Academy. The Teachers were all friendly, I made life long friends, and I even matriculated to their High School SouthTech Academy. I am an ESE student and was treated better here than in the other middle school I attended. I

Not good. They really don’t care for your child unless she has a good grade. 504plan doesn’t exist for this school.

My experience would be four and a half stars out of five because the culture is great and everyone really trys to help out, but some areas need a bit of improving.

This school doesn’t believe in giving students homework! It’s apart of their lazy curriculum! Most discombobulated staff EVER! The ENTIRE staff here act just like the grades they teach! They fight and fire staff because of who doesn’t like who! And i witnessed this first hand at my child’s parent meeting!! Every week it’s a teacher getting fired and hired! My child hasn’t had one consistent teacher all year!! The DEAN of the school is very poor at setting a good example for the students. This issue i have with her(DEAN JOHNSON) it’s absolutely pointless for me to go to the school to address the issues because all of them are incompetent and nothing will be done! This he/she embarrassed my child in front of everyone because of a conversation me and IT had a few months back.. i don’t know where dean Johnson is a boy or girl and that right there proves that she’s not a good role model because she’s confused as to who she is! Bullying is ok in this school a student took my child belongings the parent brought it back to the school and they kept my child’s money because of the conversation i had with the principal! PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM THIS SCHOOL! In the near future i won’t be surprised To hear they’re closing down! THEY NEED TO BE PERMANENTLY CLOSE!

The bathrooms are disgusting there are fights every month. The school doesn't care about your kids education they only care about money. The advanced classes are learning things a year behind. The algebra class went through about 4 teachers in 2015. Don't enroll your kids their, because you will spend alot of money for school shirts and end up seeing how terrible the school is after you're broke.

I love working at South Tech Prep! The staff, teachers, and students are amazing! We are a small school setting - very inviting to new students. I agree that this is a hidden gem for middle school students in Palm Beach County!
