My children have had a wonderful experience at Cole School. The teachers and staff members are warm, inviting, and knowledgable. It is really like a private school in a public school district. The communication that we receive as parents is wonderful and keeps me in the know of what my children are doing at school. There is strong leadership in Mr. Middleton-Cox and he relates to all of the students. He knows who they are and calls them by name. We are very happy at Cole School.

Lacking leadership and confidence is falling. The school once a proud town institution is now falling behind. Teachers seem stressed, the principal seems less interested in improvements than showmanship. Private school with less money do so much better. No teacher will ever get fired so there is no impetus to improve. Spend a fortune on Technology and have a Director of Curriculum (What does she do anyway for $120,000 a year?) that can not support technology. This school needs a vision and HELP!
