Lord what can I say! This school needs to be shutdown. The teachers are incompetent! The principal is arrogant and does not have the resources to support kids with 504/IEP,'s. They treated my child horribly and would not give him the help he needed to the point where I had to pull him and move him to another county with a smaller class setting and teachers that care. I wish I would have pulled my son sooner as PG county schools as a whole is extremely behind in their curriculum and they have teachers who have no experience in working with kids who have a disability. I'd give this school 0 points if I could!

Third review here, Honestly, the school has a very low budget and clearly the teachers don't have enough resources and books to keep up.

I used to love this school and the teachers. The older my kids get, the more disgusted and disappointed I get. I wish I had the option to take my kids out of this school. The principal doesn't care, most of the teachers don't care. There a few very nice and weet teachers. But most of them could care less about the children. The Special Education services here are a joke. A lot of bullying and harassment from other children as well. Just avoid, if you can. I can't wait until I no longer have to deal with this school.

Terrible learning environment for kids with a disability. The principal does not respect parents and is arrogant. The environment is toxic for kids with a disability because the principal supports exclusion. If you choose this school, you’ve to monitor everything pertaining to your child's socially, academically, ad mentally because your child will NOT strive.

I have a child at High Bridge Elementary. He loves his teachers. The teachers always make themselves available for me to talk about my child and how he is doing in class. I have never had an issue at all with this school. The Principal is great. He always makes time to speak to me or my son when we see him. Very friendly and understanding.

My child is a part of their CRI program and I have not had the best experience at all. If you are looking to enroll in this school please make sure you are on top of them an advocate may be wise.

All teachers I have encountered directly have always been attentive and willing to take the time to answer all questions even without scheduled appointments. Teachers had HBE give me the impression they care about there students when as a parent I show concern.

My child is in kindergarten, the teacher is tired and stressed, she hates her job. The principle Mr. Kelly is too laid back, doesn't seem to care about anything other than his paycheck. This is a horrible first year of school for my child. The entire school is a joke, everyone seems stressed, tired and uncaring. I am tempted to move to a better school area or pay for private school. Something needs to happen to fix this school, fast please.

The school is steadily improving in tests scores over the last 5 years. The principal, while quiet, is effective in involving the community with the school.

While the teachers are great the new principal Mr. Kelly is terrible. He need to learn to respect and listen to parents. He lacks the social skills you would think a principal would have. Very unprofessional.
