    The School is in the middle of a major remodel and that is a pain, but that aside Viewmont offers a lot. The music department is excellent, with excellent show choirs. Theatre, dance and other performing arts are strong. This school has established a nice engineering program and Athletic program. A school can't do it alone so I like the great parental involvement with this school. The teachers are good to work with in a positive way when an issue arises. Like you would find everywhere else Administration likes to talk in circles at times...but It helps to be positive and help out when I can, then they don't just brush off my complaint. There is no perfect school but we have enjoyed this one for the last 10 years.

    It's just so old. And a lot of the teachers don't really care about what they teach.

    We moved here three years ago because we liked the option for the Engineering program at this school. We have been pleasantly surprised with the many other strengths at this school. The kids at this school are about as down to earth as you will find anywhere. Great learning environment for any teenager. My only complaint would be how run down the school is. I'm not sure how Davis School District distributes funds for remodeling, but Viewmont should be higher on the list than it is. The only thing I'm aware of that has been done since we moved in was replacing pipes so that the water is no longer brown. Nice. Still a great school! So glad we are here.
