This is a school I wish all children can attend. It's one of a kind, focusing on the early years of education, preparing children for socio-emotional and academic readiness. The teachers are outstanding and nurturing. Lots of emphasis on play and is also highly academic, without homework. Kids leave here with a boundless love of learning and are more than ready for public (or any) school.

What a beautiful and enchanting place to call your child's school. I can't describe the not I have bringing them here each day. We love the four day schedule and that kindergarten is a non-academic year. Kids have the benefit of a multi-age environment, which is so valuable. The Waldorf inspiration coupled with the perfect balance of academics and play make this a truly unique place.

Both of my son's were fortunate to be a part of Ziji. They are now older and in middle and upper elementary school, and the foundation they received at Ziji is evident in their self-confidence, their foundation in academics grounded in the natural curiosity about learning and their world that Ziji fosters, and their awareness of who they are and of how to relate to others. Ziji truly provides something unique and wonderful.

When I became a parent I had a dream, a picture in my head of the perfect place to share my kids with. I imagined co-parenting with teachers, rejoicing in growth and accomplishments, honoring obstacles and always loving unconditionally. At Ziji there was all this and so much more. I wish we could have stayed there forever. My sons needs were met on all levels and in all areas. I have a great deal of love and respect to the women who run and work and live this school. They honor each child as an individual and allow them to grow in their own direction offering gentle direction and encouraging self respect. All children should be lucky enough to begin life in such a classroom!!

amazing place to ease into the world of reading and math without giving up the play based magic and gentle environment of a waldorf preschool. Love it, and my daughter will be ready to join into a public school after the education she is getting at ziji. love it.

We can not have been happier with our daughter's experience at Ziji. The teachers are brilliant at seeing and nurturing the innate brightness in children-- and I feel a sense of relief and gratitude that my daughter has had this kind of incredible foundation, which will serve her for the rest of her life. As she approaches "graduation" from 2nd grade-- we already, and often, see signs of a kind of inner resilience and wisdom. I know she has come to rest in this part of her, in large part thanks to the authentic vision and uplifted discernment of this schools philosophy. I wish I could go back and time and do K, 1, and 2 with Norah and Marti!!
