- Submitted by parent on May 02, 2022Our son has had incredible teachers--he's always surprising us with what he's learned at "school"! BDLC emphasizes social-emotional development in early childhood, so what they're most passionate about is teaching empathy, cooperation, resolving conflicts, and so on. They are also a center that truly respects children. The teachers really see them as little *people*. I even think they've helped ME be a better mom. We have also been very happy with the community. You have to make the first move and reach out to other parents, but when you do, they are receptive. It helps that they are a co-op and so parents all play a personal role in the school's flourishing.
