I have sent my children to Saint Regis since 2016 and I couldn’t be happier with the environment that the staff at Saint Regis have created. They work very hard to develop our children and build relationships with the families. I looked at all of the private schools in the area and am very happy with my decision.

My kids had a terrible experience! I highly wouldn’t recommend this school, little by little everyday they chipped away at my child’s self esteem making them feel less than. They’d walk into school with their heads down afraid they may get in trouble for saying hello in the wrong tone and get in trouble. The community of the parents is worse than the kids .. the adults talking about other parents and their children is very disheartening and just for that I wouldn’t recommend this school.

Not the place I want to send my kids. The school isn’t welcoming.

Let me just start off by saying I would give this school zero stars if I was able to because that is exactly what it deserve in every aspect. You know that saying , "you get what you pay for", well that absolutely does not apply here. We thought by sending our daughter here she would be in the best of hands with staff that truly cared, we thought wrong. If your child has the slightest bit of a learning disadvantage do not even waste your time or money. I am not sure why they consider themselves a "catholic" school when they do not offer services to ALL children that god created. Not only did they push us out the door because they told us over and over again that our child would benefit more at a public school but they weren't even willing to put a game plan together for her. Academically she is offered the same benefits at the public school but the difference is that the staff and teachers actually care!!! At St. Regis they bring in staff from the public school for speech, OT, PT, etc, so what are you really paying for??? Exactly! I had also reached out to the priest and never heard back from him, not only is that unprofessional but unchristian like as well. I could go on and on but I think by now you should get the point. Save your money and time that your child will never get back and look elsewhere!!!!

This is my experince. I was the only black kid in my grade of 3 classrooms! No, there was 2 other black kids, other than me. But still! I felt out of place and for St.Regis diverse means "two black kids." There was only about two Chinese kids, and like 40 caldiens. I felt insecure most of the time. Being the only black kid in my class, the other students couldn't relate to me. Some white kids would even ask, "Does your hair grow?" The teachers were mostly female (white) they were ok. Except, this lunch lady. She was caldien. I feel like she targeted the black kids. Maybe I'm wrong, but it sure felt like it. Boys will be boys. But there were often some times where I was close to asking my parent to come pick me up. I would not recommend this school. There were some fun assemlys and other crafts. But mostly, I felt out of place. The teachers were ok, but the boys were nasty. This is my review of St.Regis

Excellent experience academically. Teachers/administration are very professional and supportive.

When my children started, this was a great school. With the turn over in administration and teachers, it seems to have lost its way. There is no moral compass.

The school has had a huge turnover with a new priest, new principal, and many new teachers. It’s a very different place than it used to be. The climate is very sports-oriented and it seems to have a sense of entitlement.

Great family feel at St. Regis. The staff is very helpful and willing to listen to parents. We are very happy here. Technology is very good, love uniforms, great academics, a strict respect for other students and staff. Very happy.

I am disappointed that my younger children have not benefited from St. Regis School academically the way my oldest had. The high teacher turnover continues into this year and is disrupting to my children; especially when it happens mid semester. I agree with the person who posted earlier, it seems very "....pleasing".

I am in love with St. Regis! The principal is the most supportive and loving woman. Every aspect of the school strives for excellence. The teachers are amazing, caring, and incredibly hard working. My children are receiving the best education available.

My children have attended St. Regis for 3+ years and I have found the education to be excellent. I have 19+ years working within the world of education and it is my privilege to send my children to this school and work among these highly qualified, Christ- centered teachers and staff. It is a beautiful community!

My children currently attend this school. Most of the teachers are very friendly and welcoming, especially in the elementary. The administration is very " parent pleasing" and I did not see them follow through with a lot last year unfortunately. On a positive note, there are lots of sports programs and the school seems to be making improvements with after school clubs. I was disappointed that this year only one foreign language was offered.

St. Regis is a wonderful, nurturing school and academy. The administration, the teachers, the students and families that are a part of this community work very well together to ensure St. Regis is a great school for all students!

Academically, the school was very good. My children were well-prepared for high school and excelled freshman year in Spanish, English, and Math due to the teachers at St. Regis. Socially, the place is a bit of a challenge, though our kids did fine and were happy. There is a legacy/lifer clique that is far from welcoming. Spiritually, the Catholic education was great, but students could be held to higher standards of behavior. Extracurricular activities: Regis track and football are legendary due to the coaching, but other sports seem to lack experienced coaches and that could lead to very bad experiences for young kids. They are trying to add different activities other than sports, but there wasn't much there during our tenure. The new administration has had its challenges cleaning up the finances and replacing very good teachers who left (some voluntarily, some not). I hope they succeed.

I have two children that attend St.Regis. After looking at several different Catholic schools, we decided that this is the family for us. We could not be happier. The administration has been kind and welcoming. The teachers are excellent. They go above and beyond to help my children. My children want to go to school everyday. We are very happy at St.Regis.

The reviews seem mixed, but I am very pleased with the education my children are receiving. We came here five years ago from another Catholic school. We had no particular complaints with the previous school, but it was very small and seemed to lack some of the 'bells and whistles' that St. Regis has. Coming from a small school, we were worried that there would be not as much individual attention, but that was not the case. My three children have been taught to think for themselves, care for others, and how to model Christian behavior. That was in addition to the excellent instruction with high expectations that have consistently placed them in the top 15% of every standardized test they've taken. My one concern is that it seems that some vocal parents try to disrupt the instructional process by publicly demeaning faculty and administration. However, this year seems much calmer, so I am hoping that situation is resolving itself. Perhaps the person who posted several grammar errors within his/her own post that criticized the grammar of a teacher is also less of a distraction this year by sending his/her children to a different school.

As a parent with a student at St. Regis, I can attest that this year has not brought about the change we had hoped. My regret is we didn't transfer after all the turmoil of last year, which was a huge red flag and our indecision, I feel, has become detrimental to their education. This has also come at a cost to us, after paying for their education, we are paying for supplement tutoring. I feel this is the unforturnate cost of our decision to stay. There are some good things about St. Regis but I'm sorry to say too many disappointments outweigh those things.

St Regis has been a wonderful place for both my children. They are able to meet the needs of all types of students. It is strong academically but also focuses on good moral values. The community is one of a kind.

I have three children at St. Regis and am very happy with the school. St. Regis has taught our children very well and is home to some truly outstanding teachers. What's more, we feel like we are part of a strong community at St. Regis. I like that my kids attend a school where everyone knows them and knows me and my husband. It's a place where people really care about each other. St. Regis is surrounded by very good public schools, but they can't match the strong academics and nurturing environment offered at Regis.
