The principal does an outstanding job and sets the tone for the school environment and culture. Principal Russo is approachable, responsive, caring and well liked by the students, staff and families. All of the teachers have felt like the right ones for our son. Special services and supports may have to be advocated for vs freely offered, but that is a conversation that develops on an individual basis I am sure. Teachers do listen to concerns and respond accordingly from my experience. They are well staffed to meet the needs of every child, and it seems they do just that. The PTO is welcoming and active. The school offers many extracurriculars in non-covid years. Couldn't be happier. Wish it went to 5th grade as that seems too young to start middle school.

Negative experience for our children. Affluent area with privileged children. Anything outside of the norm, quickly labeled. I would concur with other families I’ve heard describe the culture as “clicky and exclusive”. Not all are welcomed.

We love Conant. My oldest started in 2013 and the youngest will start in 2021. The two who have completed their time there loved it--loved their teachers, the school environment, the clubs and activities inside and outside of school...everything. It's a friendly and caring place, which every school should be. I have never heard of kids being bullied here (and have asked my sons periodically about this). I've heard of very few "mean" kids--the culture created at the school promotes inclusion, kindness, effort and everything needed to give kids a strong academic foundation. I will say that their playground equipment seems to be lacking compared to some of the other school in the district, but that's not something I'd dwell on. It's a great place!

Very happy with Conant. Very happy we have a new Principal and so far I think he is doing a great job. I like the teachers and programs and families. My kids are getting a great education and are being exposed to exciting programs and a pretty diverse student body.
