Both my kids had good experiences at Bexley Middle School. It's a supportive environment with many resources available for students, parents and teachers. The administration and staff care deeply about student success and are tuned into how challenging these years are for many students. The question we considered was how good of an education would Bexley Middle School provide to our children? Here is the most objective evidence I can offer regarding academic outcomes. Our kids went to school from pre-k through 6th grade in another community, outside of Ohio. When we moved to Bexley, we were concerned that they were behind. Test scores confirmed that they were in fact substantially behind Bexley's mean standardized testing scores. Fast forward to today, they both are in high school in Bexley. Their standardized scores are above the mean and they are thriving. Am I impressed with the school's teachers and their commitment to our kids? You bet I am! Would I recommend Bexley schools to families considering a community to settle in? Absolutely!

This ENTIRE school district has a huge amount of OVER REACH into the home. Teaching things like morals, values and political view points to someone else children is completely unacceptable. Teachers need to stay out of the home.

Middle school is hard. Between puberty and developing social skills kids struggle. We relocated to Bexley after spending time in a middle school in a bother city outside of Ohio. Teachers here are engaged. The administration communicates proactively. They embrace the mental health needs of their students. We couldn’t be happier. If you are looking for a safe place for your student to grow and develop. Where they will get support from teachers and staff and opportunities to explore their interest - this is what Bexley Middle School offers.

I was bullied and harassed for the way I dressed and because I am gay, the principal did nothing and went out of his way to avoid doing anything about my situation. When I was absent because of the effect this had on my mental health they set up an absence plan for me and failed to follow through with my accommodations completely, giving me the paperwork and nothing else. If you are LGBTQ, do not attend this school, at least not while Jason Caudill is Principal.
