I’d truly like to commend the school for their outstanding effort during such an unprecedented time. The Covid-19 pandemic forced the Staff, teachers, and students to become comfortable with constant remote learning. In comparison to other school districts, I really love how devoted the district has become in making sure the school day mimics the physical set up of classes and continuing the changing of teachers for each subject. Students are still learning and progressing in their academics. Praying for an end to this pandemic so that the students can get back to some sense of normalcy.

For a school which is pretty mid tier, the teachers are amazing, and you can tell almost all of them love their jobs and their students. Going here is... an experience to say the least, and I hope it can improve even more in the future!

I love this school and the teachers. I hope this school strives in the future. They should honestly work on having pre algebra classes for 8th graders.

As a parent, I want my child to be challenged, educationally, motivated by POSITIVE reinforcement and feedback, to feel excited about the things he/she is learning, all while in an environment that is caring and safe. If you're looking for a school that meets that description, then run, don't walk, in another direction!!! While at Lincoln, my son, (who was in the Honors program at his elementary school) became lazy and disinterested in learning. He was assigned 1 hour of homework PER WEEKristen on average, the majority of his teachers were uncaring, uninvolved and detached. I tried on several occasions to address my concerns with his teachers and when I received apathetic responses, I reached out to the school's principal... after 4 messages, I still never received a callback! We took our son to a tutor, hoping that it was the answer, howe've received that's when we were alerted to the real issue at hand: our son was being bullied mercilessly. The staff was aware of the situation! On several occasions, my son was told to "quit whining", "no one likes a tattle tale" and 1 teacher told him that, "being picked on is a rite of passage" and that, "it will make you stronger"!!!! NEVER were we alerted! Not once did we receive a note, email, phone call... NOTHING! My son was made to feel as though he was wrong to complain and we were in the dark! Once we learned of this situation, my son told us stories, (substantiated by other students AND parents!) of drug use in the bathrooms, children having "relations" in the bathrooms and what turned out to be a SERIOUS gang problem! **Recently a child brought A LOADED GUN to school!!!** This school is in a suburban of Chicago, but has the problems of a South Side school! Berwyn is better than that! Our tax dollars are far too high to have sub-par schools with the teachers who must've received C's and D's in college!! The school needs a complete overhaul! The people of Berwyn are given a choice of schools and many families cannot afford to pay for private schools or out of district schools! Give your child a fighting chance to succeed! Do NOT send them to Lincoln Middle school if you can avoid it!

Lincoln Middle School is average. They don't give enough homework and they need to really have more challenging programs for advanced learners. My child used to be very motivated to learn. My child was also challenged a lot by teachers to do more in the past but since coming to Lincoln that has died a bit. I hope they are giving more challenging tasks to those students who excel. I also believe they should give more homework. My child got all A's and B's and barely had any home work all year! I think they should challenge the students more to do more and not just the minimum to pass.

I love this school since Mr.Zarco took over. He keeps parents informed and i know that he loves the kids and would do anything for the. My daughter is ADD and has always struggled in school. Mr. Zarco talks to her not at her. So she really looks up to him and goes to him for anything. I think when teacher take time out to talk with the kids and push them to do their best. I feel a part of the school cause the principle cares enough to make changes that make u a part of the school....

My daughter was always a motivated learner she loved leraning, good student, good grades. Since she enter this school, her grades are not as good as they use too. She has become lazy at studying and in her 3 years that she has been in this schoo,l I have seen more reporcards than homework. I don't understand why the teachers are not giving out homework, why is my child not being motivated to learn? Why do they have such an irresponsible teacher (Goldman) who cares more about being popular with the kids than actually teaching.

The teachers here were amazing! I love Lincoln Class of '11 right here! They helped me through so much. They challenged me all throughout my three years at lincoln! Thankss! :)
