My two kids have been attending Belvedere since 1st grade. They are very happy, and I am pleased with their education progress. They will be attending Belvedere Elementary again next year!

Please be aware that all of the five star reviews on here are a product of the members of the PTO spamming in order to get the rating up. They are trying to suppress the truth about this school, which is that they do not give one iota about you or your child. They do what they want and have no accountability or oversight, and do not have the best interest concerning the safety of your child in mind. Please be aware of this and don't believe the hype.

I absolutely love my children being at Belvedere! My children have been attending for over 4 years and it has been a very positive experience. I love their teachers who are always caring and informative. The front office, Principal and Vice Principal believe in family first and helping our students realize that school is a safe place to learn and should be a positive experience. All parents need to understand that bullying needs to be controlled at home and those students who bully, are a direct result of parents who allow it. Belvedere works on controlling bullying as much as they can, but they can only do so much and the parents of the student need to take responsibility. My chief concern is not having a Resource Officer and Aiken County School District not providing one. I am also disappointed there has been nothing done to improve our landscaping and our new gym and cafeteria have not been built. Our students and school deserve these updates.

If you’re looking for a school with teachers passionate about teaching your child, this school is it! Administration and teachers work together for the benefit of the students. My son has grown so much this year being at this school.

My son is new to Belvedere this year and I am extremely satisfied with what I've seen so far. From prior knowledge of students that have attended Belvedere, the school has continuously shown academic growth the last few years and it is evident in their instruction methods that I have witnessed first hand. I can't wait to see how much he has grown once the year is over with.

This is the second year that all three of my children have attended Belvedere Elementary School. I was apprehensive about them moving schools, however it has been the absolute best experience. My children have grown by leaps and bounds in their academics and even received extra support when needed. The administration has been supportive when I had questions. The teachers have always shown kindness and are clear in their communication.

This is our first year at Belvedere. They were one of the few schools with an “Excellent” rating on school report card. Just looking at the sections/stars included on this review confirms my positive experience at the school. My kindergartener started the year reading about 20 words but now can read most basic books. Her teacher has creative literacy programs that my daughter talks about with excitement! The teachers are amazing and involved in their students’ lives. There’s a great counselor, nurse, PTO, and leadership at this school. If there’s ever an issue, the principal and VP are approachable with an open door policy and present at student dropoff.I’ve attended great schools in Columbia County and as a personal opinion, I would say the level of teacher passion and quality of learning is comparable.

The principle prides having a 61% on screportcards.com, for a public school it may be okay but that's still a horrible percent in my eyes. We moved to South Carolina from California and it took 3 office visits so far just to get basic information and additional help for my daughter. I've considered transferring my daughter to another local school. But none of them have higher than 61%. Mossy Creek had a higher average per this website but 10% lower average on screportcards.com so I'm torn on what to do. She had never been in a school lower than a 7rating prior. As a parent you send your child to school for an education. I now understand why so many parents are choosing to home school.

I have had two daughters finish Belvedere and one there now as a 2nd grader and would recomend it to anyone. They are very child and community oriented. It has been a great experience.
