We are overall very happy with the education, community and support at Keystone. This is our 7th year at the school.

We love this school! Great teachers that care about every kid. Only great things to say about the staff and admins. We are so thankful to have found this school and plan on sending all of our kiddos there.

They do not care about your children’s safety, bullying continues and death threats and the principal and NHA will do nothing. My sons couldn’t progress academically because they had a brand new teacher and they put all the children struggling in her classroom so the behaviors were very disruptive. Parental involvement is not encouraged and the principal will not see you or talk to you unless you talk to 5 different people first and she is coming descending and rude. My sons were excited to leave the school after 3 years it was horrible and only kept getting worse.

My son is about to complete his 1st year in school as a kindergartener. He has really enjoyed attending Keystone Academy. He does require special education as well for a speech delay and all of teachers have been so supportive, patient and understanding with him all year. Even with being short staffed with special education teachers, they have managed to still give my son the support and extra care he's needed. My son hasn't had one complaint this whole year so far and has progressed so much. I'm am very happy with my decision to enroll him at Keystone Academy.

My experience at this school was quite awful. It was okay in some areas of my school life but their dress code doesn't make any sense. They treat the kids like they're prisoners. Every Friday, Monday morning they have all-grade assemblies and they make all of the kids sit on the dirty, cold floor while the teachers (the wardens) get to sit on chairs. They even had a teacher who was fired for death-threatening a 6th-grade student. The punishment for bullying is absolutely unacceptable. They suspend both of the belligerents of the fight for a day and they email/call their parents. That's all they do. NHA is so cheap that they don't even care to invest in the experiences of children. We had to either make our lunch or get disgusting microwave food. They still use the gymnasium as the lunchroom. And they don't have any "electives" that you would expect for middle schoolers. The only electives the entire school has are gym class (P.E.), Art Class, Choir, Orchestra, Band, and Technology Class. Sometimes teachers would have mean faces towards kids that were not "successful" or were not "Straight-A's". Some teachers should get defunded for their lack of help with some students. I doubt kids will ever even have a "successful future" at this school. And they always made us do a pledge to the school about our efforts in classwork and that "we will thrive further more than those who were never in any NHA schools." In my opinion, NHA is like the new Taliban to teach children to shoot a gun. If you don't pull the trigger, they'll pull the trigger on you. So parents, don't take your children to any NHA school. If you don't believe me, your kid will be telling you that he/she hates going there. That's all I have to say.

My kids have been attending Keystone Academy since young 5's. They have received an excellent education and are challenged academically. The school not only educates, they place a great deal of emphasis on moral focus. They are firm but fair in their discipline. My kids have received a good education and understand the importance of hard work and determination.

Keystone has been a great school for our family! I have had 3 children go from Kinder through 8th grade and currently have a child in Elementary. We have been with Keystone since 2004 and we made the BEST decision for our children.Keystone prepared my 3 older kids to succeed in High school and college. You will not find a better school in the area. As a parent, I have enjoyed being a part of a community. We have been very lucky to meet some great families at Keystone! I love the structure and moral focus that is provided.

e have been a part of the Keystone community for 12 years! After this year, both of my children will have completed 10 years (from Y5-8th grade) at this school. The teachers have all been amazing, meeting and exceeding their needs academically. Keystone truly has a unique family/community feeling and support system! My children are both top in their class and We truly believe their years at Keystone has set them up for a successful future! I highly recommend Keystone!!

Keystone academy was the best choice I ever made for my family. It has been such a great experience for my two children. I love how my kids have learned to apply the moral focus attitudes not only at school but at home as well. It has been so awesome to watch them grow.

This school sets up students for success. When I entered public high school, I realized how ahead of curriculum I was compared to the students who had attended public schools all their academic career. If you are looking to place your kid in a school program that will structure them to have a respectful morale and strong academic skills, this is the place for you!

This school is effective at the elementary stage. The middle school is riddled with problems. Be sure to remove your student from this program before 6th grade.

When my son started at keystone in 2012 it was wonderful. However, it had become intolerable in the last two years. The administration does not take parents seriously, parents are restricted from the building, kids have to follow a ridiculous dress code. One little girl for in trouble because there was pink around the top of her socks. The administration lies to cover their butt and kids are treated like little prisoners. I took my son out and he is infinitely happier and is learning far more. I do have to give some of the teachers who has been there for a long time a lot of credit.

It’s been great! My kid has a noticeable difference both academically and morally.

I’d rather die than spend another year here.

The school needs to stop punishing the whole, and instead single out the few and punish them more deliberately. Like detention or something. They have a stupid color system and it does nothing. In middle school, they have a “purple club” where if you don’t get a blue for a month you get to go wear a purple shirt for a day.

Where do I begin? I wish I'd had a chance to say a proper thank you in person to you all for being such fantastic teachers. Mario has had nothing but positive things to say this year about each of you. After Wednesday’s curriculum night, I now understand why Mario is always looking forward to the next day of school. During the meeting, I sat there looking around classroom thinking,“I wonder if the parents attending this meeting realize how much time, effort and love each teacher has put into their classrooms to create such a warm learning environment?” Keystone kids are truly blessed. This paycheck program/point system is phenomenal. My husband and I are trying to figure out how we can continue this point system at home. It's comforting to know that not only is Mario getting a great education, but he is happy at school as well. Keystone 4th grade teachers AKA Keystone 4th grade Dream Team....Thank you for being such excellent educators!Mrs. Owens

My family has been a part of this community since 2005. It was the BEST decision I made for my children's foundation. Not just the moral focus but the dedication and support of the teachers and staff as a whole.

The first 3 years at this school were wonderful! No complaints at all! Then last year it all changed. A student stole an instrument from my child. Even though the handbook states that being in possession of stolen property goes against the moral focus code, this child was not expelled. It doesn't set a very good example to the other kids that stealing is not okay. The leadership did not handle the situation well at all. If it weren't for the great teachers, I'm not sure we would have stayed.

We have been going there 5 years now and we love it. The teachers are awesome and always there if you need them and the principal is very open minded and easy to talk to. They go the extra mile for our children and I love that?
