Watch for review manipulations. Reviews less than 5 stars on major search engines are reported and removed. I have watched this over the years. Reviews on this site thankfully stay it seems, but you can tell by the writing who is writing the 5 star reviews on here. What a great way to inflate ratings! Seriously, rather than trying to rig the reviews and put lipstick on a pig, please spend that time and effort fixing the issues. Our society will decline if we don't give our upcoming generations a good education in a caring atmosphere and if we don't respect all our hardworking staff.

Teachers are great. Dr Moore is great. This school offers so many extra curricular activities it’s hard to keep up!

Steady leadership from caring principal and dedicated teachers & staff....students and parents are respected....all staff reach out to each and every student.

How is this school even a 3/10 on this site? I have worked in many schools in my life and have not seen such disrespectful and heartless leadership. Some teachers are great, but staff attrition is horrible. How does the state allow this school to continue?

The leadership significantly declined a year ago or so. The old principal had a heart and higher competence. Some teachers are amazing, but some also lack heart, maturity, and efficacy.

My three children attend Washington as it is our neighborhood school. We love it! The staff cares so much and they have great programs before, during and after school. Their achievement scores have skyrocketed past all other elementary schools in Bay City in the last few years because they are focused on meeting the needs of ALL students. They have Gifted and Talented classrooms in each grade, TechWizards, Girls On The Run, and much more.

My child is in the AP program at the school. The teachers and staff are great. We get text and voicemail msgs from teh proncipal with updates about the school and regular e-mails from our child's teacher with updates on progress in the classroom. There is a monthly parents meeting and quarterly mettings with staff. They are all dedicticated to the children and the education. Lots of interation between home and school, updated electronics in the classrooms, foreign language, music and art every week.
