The experience is pretty bad. The academics are decent, but the College Credit Plus program is discouraged and kept secret as much as possible by the administration. The extracurriculars are meh, but it is really whatever teachers are willing to pick up because the school does not have outside advisors for non-athletic activites. The diversity is terrible and not many people consider the feelings of their minority peers. Lastly, the direct student input is not welcomed by staff or administrators, since dissenting opinions are often ignored. Yes, the school will suffice to achieve a high school diploma, but many problems are acknowledged and ignored, which is extremely disappointing.

We are new to the school this academic year but are very pleased with the leadership and structure of learning.

the teachers and staff and everything about the school is great. Except the students that attend there. This school has made my life miserable. I wish I could give this school zero stars. I'm currently searching for other options for schools for high school because the high school is just awful. The stories I hear it's just so scary because the middle school was already awful. Bullying is a severe issue that needs to be fixed here.

I have had 2 children graduate from Batavia High and still have 2 students in lower grades. One of my children received a Fulbright Scholarship to Korea upon graduating with her bachelor's and is now a doctoral student at OSU and my other child is in undergrad for Geology. I believe this school helped prepare them for these paths.

This school violated students right to self-incrimination with the social studies survey, and then punished a teacher who stood up for the students by telling them about the 5th Amendment. If the survey had been anonymous, no problem. The district board should go back and read the Constitution of the US.
