Our son has attended different schools both private and public in different states and Mina is far and away the best school he’s ever attended. The staff are kind, caring and passionate about teaching. It’s clear from pick-up/drop off to the classes themselves to special assemblies/performances that everyone in that school is dedicated to creating a wonderful learning environment for kids K-4. Last year my son had Ms. Estes and this year he has Mr Gibson and both teachers are wonderful beyond what I could have possibly hoped for. In addition, his teachers for various special programs have also been great. Ms Allen the principal is also great and the kids seem to love her. I truly can’t say enough good things about this school and I feel so grateful that my son had the opportunity to go there. It’s bittersweet as this is his last year but I know the memories he made during his time at Mina will last a lifetime.

If I had to pick a school for my son to attend, it would be Mina Elementary. We couldn't be more pleased with the quality of education he receives.

I have had nothing but good experiences at Mina and all of my children are thriving and happy. The PTA is very active and does so much for Mina staff, students and their families. The Musicals put on are the best around! Truly an amazing school.

My kids go to Mina and it was their first year. They both improved in their academics and social skills. They love Mina and I couldn’t be happier with them at Mina. It’s a great school in the district.

Both of my children have attended Mina and have had a great experience. From my children's homeroom teachers to the cafeteria staff to the school nurse to their specials teachers, all have gone above and beyond to make sure their students are growing and learning.

We moved here recently from the north. Therefore, this is new to us. I am a grandparent of a Mina student. She loves her teacher, the school, and Mrs. King. I can see why. Everyone is caring, kind, and have the child's best interest at heart. We are so pleased !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Fantastic school.

Communication was horrible. Teachers changing positions and classrooms, no warning or preparation for the change. Principal Ms. King doesn't tell the truth...lack of professionalism, lack of consideration for students and their parents. Always the negatives and not the positives. The lazy teachers make it hard for the outstanding teachers. The school is old and needs upgrading, lack...lack...lack... It was a horrible experience. When you get a call from a teacher, you call back...teacher doesn't return your call even though she called you first regarding a concern with your student. I found out weeks later at a meeting that the principal advised her to not call me back. So for weeks I called left messages and wanted to know what was going on...very sad. I actually give no stars. Very unsatified, very disappointed as I went to elementary school at Mina...very different now. We will not be attending Mina from here on out.

Mina Elementry works with all the children with disabilities. They have several different plans for these children. My grandson goes to regular class as much as he can handle and then is taken to the SBC room when he can't work without disruption. They have specialist working on his speech and the teachers in the SBC are heaven sent. They get put thru alot with these children but all they want is for them to do well. They keep me informed about his progress and behavior sometimes daily. I can check on him with no problems from the school. We work together to get him what he needs and where he should be going academicly. His regular classroom teacher works well with him. He rides the school bus so he picked up on a Specials bus with only about 5 or 6 other children. I really have been quite pleased with the school.
