My son transferred from a Baltimore City School that he loved. This school is not on the level of that school. He has been bullied since he started and the bullying has continued daily. He has let teachers and staff know but nothing has changed. I don't know what to do because it's his zone school. I am a teacher of 18 years and know public ed. He hasn't had a band director since October. They walked out and quit. This is not what we signed up for.

It's a ok school. Some teachers really do care and others not so much. If your in advanced classes or in the IB program then this school is great for you....but if your not it's a adjustment. Everyone likes to be up in each others face our always starting drama. Before the pandemic there was a fight just about every day, always he said she said. Once the pandemic hit in it was nice no fights and everyone was pretty nice online. Once I got to 8th grade virtual school was just not it, very boring and it didn't feel like school. Time goes by then we go back in the building ( I don't because my parents don't think it is safe ) it's like everyone was best friends when the camera was on them. Then after school you'll see them talking about each other on Instagram... like weren't you.....ok. But that's besides the point, even though I couldn't go into school my teachers try to make it as fun and enjoyable as they could and it was. I was in GT classes (advanced classes), whenever I would talk to my friends about school they would always say Mr./Ms. so and so has a attitude or Ms. gave us all this work to do with no help. Like I stated in the beginning not all teachers cared and I felt bad for kids in my school missing out on amazing opportunities just because they weren't in higher up classes. I would not recommend this school if your not coming for a higher up program.

It would be okay. I learned that it cost over 20 billion dollars to build that school. THAT WAS WHEN I FIGURED THAT I SHOULD CHANGE MY BEHAVIOUR OVER TIME. The principal is really strict but nice. in my opinion

Better teachers and a better principle is needed.

I would love to be able to send my child elsewhere, which is next school years plan.

This school has come a long way over the past few years. You'd have to see for yourself and not judge based on past data trends.

My sons first year! Although the transition to middle school can be hard, he survived. The young boys look so good with their ties on, "When you look good, you feel good." My daughter will be attending in the fall, I have no worries. Great leadership!

Windsor Mill Middle School has been doing great things! The school might have had a negative light, but with the leadership, teachers and students this school has really been making positive changes. Windsor Mill is currently a light house school and we are a role model for other light house and non light house schools. Windsor mill has set the bar high and it only continues to grow!

I am student at Windsor Mill Middle School. This will be my second year here and I think the administrators, teachers, and staff are doing a fine job with the students. Mr.Chambers, our school principal, has set high expectations for students and everyday more and more accomplish them. In addition to, my school is doing a great job with starting the Common Core curriculum. Especially the arts has taken a new high road this year. Overall, Windsor Mill is a great school and you would be happy to bring your here.

This school has gone straight down since Ms Phelps left. Subpar education. This has been one challenge after another. I'm so glad my child will be leaving the school this year. This has been a nightmare!!! Whatever you do don't send your child to this school. I think this school may have hurt my gifted and talented child.

Windsor Mill Middle School is great school. The teachers are very interactive via the Engrade System that has been set up to monitor your childs school performance. Hoping that the JROTC program can be reinstalled!

My child is in this school and it is the worst school he has ever attended. There has been confusion and disorganization since back to school night. The vice principal makes so many mistakes in scheduling students classes. If you child had an IEP they do not follow it at all. There are some teachers that are very good and care about the students and there are some teachers the just don't care and will allow student to sit in their class and do nothing. If I could afford it I would put my child in a private school. I really wish I could do something to change this situation for all of the children.
