AMAZING SCHOOL FILLED WITH AMAZING STAFF!! Ms. Pizzo is the best principal my three kids have ever had, she's super involved, every morning on the morning announcements she acknowledges students' hardwork and efforts, she dresses up for every event and holiday. She just makes it's fun to be at her school, and so do the teachers. This school has so much student involvement and events it's wonderful. My daughter has attended this school for 1st & 2nd grade- Armer & Jones- and they have been the most fantastic teachers, and I've literally seen them go out of their way for their students. These teachers aren't just people being paid to be there, they're teachers that love their students, love their jobs, and really make everyone feel valued. The worst part about this school is having to leave it. My daughter has had some learning difficulties, and the entire school has come together to help her catch up and not get left behind. The physical appearance is clean, well maintained, and covered in student's school work. I really would recommend this school to everyone. I've noticed all the reviews on this school are 3-4yrs old.... The school really has come a long way I guess. But as of the present it is a wonderful school.

It hasn't been good, but my child survived it.

The friendliest and most caring staff I have ever had the pleasure to meet. Really cares about the achievements of the students and the teachers and really gets everyone excited to learn!!

Lori Pizzo how did this person become a principal. She never wants to do your her job will not address bullying let alone discipline. It just feels this school is on auto pilot, my sons eight grade teacher just rants I about other teachers rarely has any lesson plans feels like he favors the female students. I will invest in private tutoring for my son to get him ready for high school and pull my first grader out and send her to Great Hearts. This school is a joke unprofessional, rude and no importance on actual education.

My kids were bullied constantly, passed in classes they had no skills in, repeatedly told that our children didn't qualify for 504 or IEP even though they had been diagnosed, and then when they were finally put in special services never ever helped them. My husband and I despise this school and moved our youngest out after his siblings went to high school. Honestly they are one of the worst schools I've ever encountered.

Absolutely awful. We were unable to get a variance for another school in the district. The conduct of administrators was inexcusable on many occasions. It was so bad we sold our home and left the state, convinced this was an Arizona issue. It’s not. More than a month into the school year in our new state, administration has failed to send my students records but they definitely took the time to attempt to out my LGBTQ student in a passive aggressive and illegal manner. Ferpa violations abound and the principal and assistant principal are unashamed of the awful job they do, playing victim when confronted. This school is the worst my children have EVER attended. After the handling of my child’s records and the FERPA violation, we are getting attorneys involved for the second time in two years.

I am a parent of 2 in this school and also an educator. I was about to apply here but unfortunately, there's FULL of discrimination among staff. Principal and staff treated the Filipino teachers so bad in this school. I witnessed an incident where one staff yelled at a Filipino teacher who happens to be my child's teacher.Staff are bullies. Watch out parents! You wont put your kids in this school who's workers don't treat each other equally. How rude!

I have 5 children who are between 2nd and 8th grades currently. We came here from the Peoria district where my 7th grader was bused to the gifted magnet school for the area. He says he cant even hear in class because the teacher's just let the kids run wild and all the curriculum is from years previous. On the other side of the spectrum, my step-daughter is in 2nd and is having some serious issues with reading and math due to being moved halfway through her 1st year and not finishing. We thought she should re-take 1st but they put her in 2nd based on "age". She consistently struggles with her homework and wouldn't even be able to complete it on her own, yet on her "report card" she has 3's and 4's when the kids who are SUPER intelligent and are re-learning material from last year because the curriculum is so behind are getting 1's and 2's. I have asked for gifted services as well as additional learning resources and gotten no where. TO TOP IT OFF, the Principal, Laura Pizzo is very rude and uninterested in helping with anything, I'm wondering how she even got the role she is in being so cold and un-caring. Principals are supposed to HELP and want each and every student to succeed. Worst experience EVER and we have been all over the valley. We will be relocating our children ASAP.

My daughters have been attending Canyon Breeze for 4 years now and have never been happier. They absolutely love their teachers and their grades are excellent. I would like to see the school offer more sport programs but am happy they started soccer this year. I love the events they have at the school and the outstanding communication from the teachers as well as the principle Jeff Byrnes. The newsletters that are emailed are very informative.

Canyon Breeze is such a great school. We live hear with our grandchild and this school is the best. We raised or son in California and the kids were morelike a number than a young person. Keep up the great work A++++++

I had a 6th and 2nd grader at Canyon Breeze. They are both high achievers and their needs were met. The staff and principal at Canyon Breeze work hard to keep kids and parents engaged and involved. The principal is every where- classrooms, lunchroom, sporting events, parent nights, etc. This school's staff is earning its Arizona "A" rating for dedication.

At first I was hesitant in letting my boys go to a public school as we have very high academic standards in our home. This school has proved to be an exceptional school with great support staff, great teachers, and an amazingly involved principal. Their take on discipline is a bit laid back but their manner of teaching the children new behaviors and great character, balances itself. My boys have been going there for 3 years and my kindergartner just started and loves going every day. They are always welcoming and friendly and have an open door policy. This allows parents like myself to be involved in their child's education.

The Principal knows almost every kid's name, and there are nearly 1,000 kids there. Most of the teachers communicate well with parents and it seems like everyone really wants kids to be successful. The only thing I'm a little disappointed in is the specials classes. The kids don't seem well supervised and learn the same things year after year. Otherwise, it's a great school and I would recommend it to anyone.

I am so happy with Canyon Breeze. The staff truly believes that all students are capable of success, and they seem to work together to make sure that happens. Did you know they provide interventions to try to catch kids up? They have been an A school two years in a row now. Keep up the good work!

My family and I moved from Vancouver, WA and this school is the best school my children have ever been too. I have a third grader and Kindergartener and the teachers are great. Ms. Peoples is so sweet and is great with the kids. The principal is great at communication with the parents and they involve the parents in everything.

I cannot say enough good things about Canyon Breeze! My daughter is a kindergartner in Ms. Peoples class. I really couldn't have asked for a better kindergarten teacher for my daughter!!!! Ms. Peoples loves, cares and teaches her as if she is one of her own. My only regret is that we have to pay for all-day kindergarten, but we do it because of Ms. Peoples. :)
