My 8th grader is thriving in this nourishing, academically robust, faith-based environment where students do come first. The exceptional quality of educators exceeds expectations and the personal responsibility my child now takes for schoolwork is a joy to witness. It's a Godsend to know exactly what my child is doing at school daily thanks to the systems and processes St. Ignatius Martyr Catholic School employs. The PTO is phenomenally engaging and the level of communication offered by the school is superb. We are quite pleased with the leadership of the school, too!

We have been at STIM for 3 yrs now and have children on both ends of the learning spectrum. Great Community. They are doing their best to accommodate all of the needs of the children. Additional resources from the Diocese on this front would be my only add'l request.

All five of my children attended St. Ignatius where they excelled in academics, athletics, and extra curricular activities while growing in their Catholic faith. It's a rigorous curriculum, but it prepared them well for the demands of a college prep high school. In the time we've been there, multiple St. Ignatius grads have become valedictorians and salutatorians at their respective high schools and attended top universities. Others have excelled at high school, college, and even professional athletics. St. Ignatius is a Holy Cross institution (the same Catholic religious order as St. Edward's University and Notre Dame) so the faculty often includes ND grads and the parish community is always led by a Holy Cross pastor and associate priests. In addition to academics and religious teaching, key tenets of the Holy Cross order are the welcoming of others and service to the less fortunate. St. Ignatius students are the beneficiaries of this well-rounded education. They are bright, respectful, discerning, kind, compassionate, and active in community service. Regarding academics, as a parent with advanced degrees, I could not recommend St. Ignatius more highly. As a human being who has spent multiple years on the St. Ignatius campus, I could not recommend these students, parents, faculty, and the St. I community more highly.

St. Ignatius Catholic School is a very special place in the heart of 78704. An amazing, faith-based environment that my children love and adore. There are so many aspects of St. Ignatius school that include community, parent involvement, rigorous curriculum, school safety, and so much more.

Our son attended St. Ignatius from PK4-8th grade and it was a wonderful experience! The school fostered a real sense of family between the teachers, parents and students. I can attest to how well prepared our son was as he has taken mostly pre-AP and AP courses in high school. Our 10 years at St. Ignatius was the best investment we ever made in our child's future.

We have been a part of the St Ignatius Martyr Catholic School family since 2013. Our children have thrived in their respective classes, have made lifelong friends and developed strong bonds with their teachers. St Ignatius is a small, tight knit community that provides a well-rounded education in a fun and faith filled environment for students. From sports to Girl Scouts, our children have been immersed in the extra-curricular activities that are offered, such as the Chess and Robotics clubs. We love the fact that our children are building a strong foundation in the Catholic faith that encourages them to be strong followers of God.

My family had students at St. Ignatius for five decades (three generations) and I hope at least some of my grandchildren will attend the school. I am a life-long parishioner at St. Ignatius Church so I'm able to keep up with what is going on at the school. I think the curriculum and standards at St. Ignatius are higher than ever. The school offers so many programs now that weren't available in the past - it just keeps getting better in all areas. It's worth the price of tuition, for sure. Teachers and administrative staff are top-notch. I know when my kids were students there I made many friends because the parents were very close and supportive of each other. I loved being a parent at St. Ignatius - those years were some of the very best in my life! I can say the success rate of my family members and friends over the years has been very high, producing many who excelled in high school, college, and in their careers. I am a very proud St. Ignatius alum and recommend the school with the highest of praise.

IT'S LIKE "PAYING" FOR PUBLIC SCHOOL If you don't take your faith or hard earned money seriously then this is a good place to throw it all down the drain. In addition to tuition you have to pay every time your kid sneezes there. They make you set up a auto-draft account from your bank and then they withdraw more than tuition, oh but you get an email saying they will take more money out...but just an email and not in time to budget for it either. They also show R rated movies to the kids and me as a parent find out about it when the kids come home talking about it. Save your hard earned money and send them to "juvy hall" - you will get the same results.

I am not only a parent, but I am also Alumni of St. Ignatius. I have truly enjoyed the last 5 years that my daughter has been enrolled. I am more than satisfied with the curriculum, the teachers, faculty, and staff. There is the sense of family within the school community. The priests and deacon come to teach and visit with the children, which I know my daughter truly loves and appreciates. I would recommend St. Ignatius to anyone who is considering private school.

The curriculum isn't rigorous. No music program. Parents are cliqueish. Some teachers phone it in, others are over the students' heads, and others perpetuate dated gender stereotypes. There's no consistency. Children are left behind at school during events, essentially ostracizing them if parents don't cough up $50 for field day. Teachers openly accuse students of cheating without verifying the accuracy of their information. Or they ban bracelets because colors supposedly represent sexual acts. (Seriously?!) Evolution has not been taught so far this year, so I'm concerned about the quality of STEM preparedness. Group projects are pedagogically outdated and a child's grade should not hinge on whether other members do their part. Technology seriously needs improvement. Communication could be much, much better. Less focus on the color of the kids' socks would be nice, as well as perhaps not threatening kids with demerits if they're the wrong color. Black socks are hardly disruptive in the grand scheme. The food is appallingly bad, all processed with nothing fresh except some wilted lettuce. All in all, it has been a very disappointing experience and we're looking for alternatives.

Great community. Teachers really know the children's style. Very strong faith oriented school. The school continually works on improving the environment and opportunities it offers the students. While there are some areas that continue to need focus overall the experience here has been good.

Our child started at St. Ignatius, Martyr, Catholic School this year, and we could not be happier. The community has been warm and welcoming, the principal displays wonderful leadership and has a strong vision for the school. The teaching faculty is excellent, and the Catholic identity of the school is very strong. We love it!
