The entire staff work really hard to give the best possible education to the students.

Fantastic. I love that my children are learning so much academically and also about social justice, the environment, and how to be a global citizen.

4 star. I love each Galindo teacher I've been able to get to know. I am glad my kids have been able to attend school here. Big high 5 to the 5th grade teachers. They are strong in the attention they give to organization and study skills has helped my older kid in middle school. Again, I like the way the teachers come together to meet the students needs.

I posted this review before. Not sure why it was taken down. I have experienced prejudice against myself because of my race and gender at this school. I despise this school because of the attitudes of the staff and teachers.

School is ok. I dont like that they cater more to the spanish speaking students. My kids find it hard to make friends, because most of them only speak spanish.

My son has been attending this school since 2008 and we love Galindo! His teachers care about their students, take the time to discuss his progress any time I ask. I'm sad to see other parents have had negative experiences because we have always been happy with the teachers and staff. The gardens and outdoor learning areas the PTA and teachers have worked to establish are amazing! Check them out!

I do not like the way administration and teachers operate when it comes to handling parents concerns, suggestions, and communication. The teachers/administration mainly act on their behalf and not of the student or student's needs. I strongly recommend parents research this school before sendind their child(ren) to Galindo. If you complain or voice concerns, the staff will retaliate against you on every level from the office staff, nurse, transporation, etc. The school can really show improvement by addressing concerns in a timely manner, putting the students needs first, and communicating with the parents. I also urge parents to read the parent teacher manual, TEA website, as well as the AISD websites regarding your rights and protection. Be informed and educate your self and what's best for your child(ren).
