My two daughters attend St. Elmo Elementary. It has a neighborhood feel with very involved teachers. The principal, Mr. Mac is very attentive to any questions or concerns and carries out his vision for improvements to the school promptly. My girls love all of their teachers and look forward to art, music, and PE. The school counselor provides special activities for social and emotional learning that the kids enjoy. Both of my girls are in the ESL Spanish classes, which have been wonderful opportunities to achieve fluency in English and Spanish. If one child needs extra help in an area, it has been provided promptly, and if a child is advanced in another area, the teachers have given the girls extra challenges. We love St. Elmo!

My kids have come to St. Elmo for 5 years now, since Prek4. The teachers are amazing and really cater to our kids needs at all times. The school really has a family friendly vibe and we can always count on the staff and other families in the school for support. It's the best school!

We have been St. Elmo parents for 5 years and love it. The principal is so involved and an amazing advocate for both the staff and the students. The school is small, the classes sizes have been small, and it feels like a real community. They all know and care about each other and there is a huge focus on social and emotional development. It is very chill and not pretentious. Your child is able to just be a kid and have fun learning.

Before registering my child for kindergarten, I did my research and we chose this school based on the ratings and experiences of other parents and children that attended/attend St. Elmo. In the three years that my child has been at St. Elmo, I have not been disappointed! All of the staff is very amicable and helpful but, most importantly, they really work hard for our kids to reach their full potential.

10 - I absolutely love St Elmo Elementary, we bought our house in this neighborhood so our son would go to St Elmo.

I have 2 students at St. Elmo, one in 2nd grade and the other in 5th. We have had a wonderful experience there. We have loved all their teachers and administrators. My children have really thrived there.

Hi I attended st elmo seens I was in p-k now I am 26 and I try so hard to live close to the school so my 5 year old can attend st elmo so now he is in pre k with ms chow. That teacher is the best teacher out there. All staff are wonderful there. It's the same people when I attended there in pk that school is the best I love them bc they treat u like family. They make u feel special and there is no bulling there!!!! It's the best school in austin

My kids both attended this school. They absolutely loved it! The teachers, staff, and especially the principal have helped my children succeed. I am most impressed by their education level coming from this little school on the corner. I have not been happier and all staff is so friendly. Way to go St. Elmo and Staff! You guys are definitely a gem!

St. Elmo has been rated Recognized by the Texas Education Agency. It is a great neighborhood school with a principal dedicated to academic success for all students. Class sizes are small. Librarian is very active and runs a wonderful bilingual outreach program to small children called Raise a Reader.
