T.A. Brown is an amazing elementary school with caring teachers and staff, as well as an wonderful variety of programs that students can participate in (particularly their 4-H Goat Project in afterschool!). Almost every experience I have had with this elementary school has left a positive and lasting impression on me. The office staff, especially Principal Sharp and Ms. Bowie, are amazing and caring individuals who actively seek out any fun and educational opportunity for the students who attend T.A. Brown. I can honestly say that there is nothing they would not do for their students. Their teachers and additional programming vendors provide a lot of unique opportunities to enhance and enrich the lives of their students on a daily basis from learning how to play an instrument and reading music to exploring different areas of science and livestock projects through a special 4-H program. The students have all been kind, caring, and enthusiastic. They also seem to enjoy coming to school and learning. It's also so much fun to see the students tell their families about what they did in class that day!

We live in the neighborhood. This school is a gem. TA Brown offers great academic and enrichment programs as a Community School, integrating parents, teachers and community partners. Great principal, great teachers. Warm and caring.

Such a great school with so much character. Lots of out of school time opportunities and teachers who go the extra mile. The school seems orderly but students seem happy to be here. There's nothing Mrs. Sharp wouldn't do for her kids. She even sends her own kids here. That's a pretty great testament!

TA Brown is the best school in town! Side by Side Kids Afterschool Program is so incredibly lucky to operate in a school where the administration and staff care so deeply about their kiddos. TA Brown is dedicated to empowering and challenging each one of its scholars, and it definitely shows.

I was in this school's district and had to complete an ARD meeting there and the facility seemed decent. But as soon as the assistant principal found out that we were actually going to be attending Davis her whole demeanor changed, she was rude, short and short tempered with my special needs child. Very unprofessional.

TA Brown is a hidden gem. The teachers and staff are great and good to work with on numerous aspects of the education and environment provided to the students.

The school is wonderful. All staff and teachers are friendly and educated. I do regret to say that parent involvement is much needed in this school community.

I am glad to say that T.A. Brown is the best around and is college bound!!!! The teachers and staff are very caring. I brought my children here from a school in bastrop and they love it here. The new principal is so wonderful she keeps all the community of parents informed of new ways to help out our children in school. Mrs. Sharp you are the greatist.
