I went to Hart from kinder to 5th grade, I’m now 23 and graduated from University. I think about my experiences at this school so often, I believe it really helped me in ways I can’t explain. Three of my older brothers also attended Hart and will vouch for their staff. I loved going to school when I attended Hart, my experience at this school made me fall in love with school and with academia. I am so thankful for my experiences here and wish I could go back often.

Everyone that works at Hart (including our substitutes!) has always said they cannot believe a gem like our public school exists. The community, student and teacher wellbeing, and kindness at Hart are always first. Everyone genuinely cares about student and faculty well-being. Our Principals and VPs are a well-tunes machine that keeps the school harmonious. This school has a huge population of students from around the world that are part of our "New Commer" program, which is HUGE for all students to experience - creating tolerance at such a young age through organic with their classmates exposure is priceless. Our Music, Art, and PE programs are top notch - not to mention our newly added PreK! Hart has so many programs for after school activities too - 4H, Girl and Boy Scouts, Ballet Folklorico, Leap of Joy, and more from the Andy Roddick Foundation. Hart is a WONDERFUL school!

The school, teachers, aids, administrators and everyone who can help, helps students to the best of their ability. When the ratings on this site says that students are not supported adequately, it is bothersome because the school as a whole does everything within its power to support students behaviorally, academically, emotionally, and every way possible. The emphasis, not just with the school, but as a nation in general, should be put on the level of support from parents. Please keep that in mind when rating a student’s progress and success.

My son is in kindergarten this year. We are looking for a bigger place to live and are trying to figure out how to keep him here. He absolutely loves it and thrives here. 2013/20142014/2015 school yearI had a 1st grader and kindergartener this year. My youngest is a handful, but they taught, handeled and managed him so well. Both boys thrived this year. We are moving across the country and I genuinely hate that they will not be at this school again.

Hart Elementary is the worst school ever!! Since my kids started this school last year in Oct 2010 in the third week they didn't know how to evaluate my kid's as they where in program ESL. They have change my kids more than 2 time in the same month because they didn't know where to put them because of their language speaking. No follow up with the materials given to them. Every time they come from school they bring more homework to do at home than they do in school and on top of that, they don't understand a nothing they bring home. So we then got to be teachers at home for them and sometime be late to work or not go to work at all because they have test the other day about the material send home. This is not right. This is wrong. Now they have send a letter to parents about over 3 years over 50 to 60% of the students not passing the task test in this school and now they want parents to take action to move them if we wish to another school district. This is unacceptable. I'm Very disappointed....
