This school is absolutely horrible. My son attended this school in kinder and half of first grade/ He, along with his 2 African American classmates, was bullied by much older children simply because they were not Hispanic and did not speak Spanish. The teachers and staff did absolutely nothing. Most of the teachers time is taken up with having to discipline unruly children. If your child already speaks English they are pretty much on their own academically. My son's 1st grade teacher urged me to pull him out of this school, which I did. Once he began attending a far better school it was discovered he was so behind from having been "taught" at Barrington he needed remedial lessons. My son worked his butt off and has been in gifted and talented since 4th grade. If you value your child's education you should steer clear of this place.
