The reporting guidelines shown on great schools dismiss the factors that are important, EDUCATION. This is obscene metrics that will devalue Great Schools and the utilization of these metrics will hinder this platform. Use tangible metrics instead of subjective ones.

Teachers are having to deal with overcrowding. Rapid influx of people to this area.

mediocre for it to be a top school in IL. Not many enrichment courses offered and too many kids in a class

I have 2 sons here....1 son loves his experience so far. My other son has received so much support with his learning disability...he was granted a 504 with me barely having to fight for any services at all. I feel very supported as the parent who does most of the caregiving. So far, we have been very happy at Young since moving to the area a year ago.

I absolutely love this school. My daughter has been here for kindergarten and now first grade. The teachers are awesome and use all of the newest teaching styles to teach. My daughter is thriving and can't wait to go to school each day.

Nancy Young is great i myself have been there since kindergarten till the fifth grade. All the teachers are amazing. They have helped me progress in my learning in so many ways. I am now going to seventh grade but i will never forget this school and everybody in it.
