My son has attended here for 4 years, the first 3 years he had to have multiple teachers because "permanent employees" were pregnant and out from October to March each year. Every staff member tells me my son is advanced, yet they refuse to test him in to a higher grade or at least provide him advanced coursework. Plenty of focus on 8 year olds who can't hold a pencil correctly, but no support for kids who are gifted. Also, the bus transportation is terrible. Most kids have to walk, but there is only 1 crossing guard in the entire village. There is no bus loop at the elementary school, the buses will block entry and exit daily. Staff will yell at you if you go in the wrong part of the parking lot, yet the parking lot is not labeled. Elementary students have to sit on the bus and wait for highscoolers to load, or unload. Your kindergarten will be on the bus with a senior, often for over 1.5 hours. It's NOT safe.

Academically sound school, however the big problem I see is the lack of privacy. Administration has no discretion, I personnally had a situation in which I thought I talked in confidence, a co-worker heard a "recap" of the conversation in the office and approached me out of concern. I didn't write a letter to the superintentent, although I should have. I'm relieved my child is now in the middle school and either the gossip is under control or I just don't hear it much.

The district area for this school is large. School seems to cater to select children whose parents work at the school or live immediately surrounding the school. Principal comes across as arrogant and condescending. Teachers do seem to genuinely care though.
