As I child I attended this school and have nothing but fond memories of the principal, teachers and staff. Actually most of the alumni of Navesink Elementary will say the same. I moved back not that long ago because now I have a family of my own and wanted to have my children experience the same things as I once did. So far we have not been disappointed. Navesink Elementary still has that same close knit family feel. The teachers and staff have been top notch in addressing any concerns we may have as well as keeping in close contact with us. I still rate this school 5 Stars as my husband and I have been happy with our experiences in dealing with the Principle, Teachers and Staff. Navesink Elementary School definitely creates a solid foundation for young children.

Love the size of the school. Looking around the playground at pick up you recognize all the faces. Great teachers that want the best for your kids. Good environment for success!

We have had a very poor experience with this elementary school. Poor communication from school to home. Teacher student ratios are very high. Special education program is lacking in every way. School is very old . Hot in the summer and chilly in the winter -especially in the back half of the school which is a trailer.

Our daughter is in her 1st year at Navesink. Her experience has been fantastic so far. Everyone takes their time to make sure each child is growing and developing. There is a very strong community feel to the staff and parents. Her teacher Ms. Philips is top notch. Navesink is a 10 in my book!.

Our daughter went to Navesink and now is a senior in college. Back in the day and many of her teachers are still there. The very best you could probably get anywhere in this country. Their principal at the time was also the best. Still today we are in contact with her elementary school teachers and principal and may I add even the school secretary and nurse. If there were 10 stars I would give that. Thank you Navesink E S teachers and staffs.

I can't say enough about how great this school is. I can't even believe there would be a negative review on here. It sounds like someone had an isolated incident. This school is small and family like. Everything they do is family and community oriented. You know practically every family here and everyone treats each other that way, as FAMILY. The principal literally opens your car door greats you and walks your child into the school. There aren't many schools left in the country that have that kind of service and reputation. The teachers are equally amazing. I love this school!

I have a child attending this school. I do not have a positive experience dealing with this school. I have nothing but a very poor experience were I wish my child never attended this school!!! Sadly that is how I honestly feel. The staff I have dealt with have not always treated my child or myself with respect we all should be treated with. The folks I had dealings with ten to talk down to you once you do not agree with them. Needless to say they talk in complete circles. And they make it like they are asking you something like they truly want your in put and care. I soon learned that is absolutely far from the truth!!!!. The only thing this school has displayed to me and my family is all they care about is reporting high test sco res. Pushing kids around like cattle just to keep up the mirage. It's a REAL shame this schoolffailed our CHILD. If they didn't you than you must be one of the lucky one's. I say stayaway the staff I dealt with could honestly careless. RUN!!!!

This school is great. I graduated 5 years ago and my sister graduated this year. The kids I met there were great and I am still friends with most. The teachers are excellent and coming out of elementary into middle school i breezed through my 6th grade classes knowing most already from 5th. My sister who has dyslexia and the teachers and staff were understanding and took the time needed. All I have heard is good things from this school. -Former student

I love this school. My son started here in the middle of Kindergarten and they were far ahead of his last school. He is now in his second year here and both of his teachers have been great and kind and they can handle the kids well. The administrative staff has been nothing but nice and helpful to us since the day we walked in.
