My children had bad experiences at AHS and with the Middle School. As a teacher, I know the students deserve so much better, it should be students first. This District is poorly run with so much turnover and the best teachers always leave or get pushed out.

My daughter has had a horrible experience at this school for the last two years and she will no longer be attending. She has been called racial slurs on more than one occasion and in speaking with her it seems to the norm at this school. Racism is a huge problem at this school. Students bring alcohol on-site and smoke all around the campus and bathrooms. Teachers don't read or respond to emails. They don't care about the students or if they do the work. Classes are interrupted by students who are looking for attention and the teachers do nothing about it. Horrible experience all the way around. Not a safe school in my opinion.

My kids had a rough time at school. The community there just didn't feel right; there were cliques and bullying, and it seemed like nobody really cared about each other. Inside the classroom, things weren't much better. It was noisy and chaotic, and the teacher struggled to keep control. Instead of feeling supported, my kids felt ignored and sometimes even picked on. It wasn't a good place for them to learn or grow.

As a parent, I am less than pleased with the college readiness of our pupil that is beginning her Jr year. We are are having to use expensive math & english tutors to have our student just get by with B's and C's respectively.

Lovely school, my daughter had a wonderful experience learning here. The principal is great, most of the teachers were a pleasure, and the extra curricular activities were outstanding.
