I love Gandy my child has gotten a wonderful education BUT, this school I feel is not secure it is an outside campus and you can see neighborhoods right beside the school no fence nothing stopping anyone from just walking on school property that shouldn't be there. I think they need to invest in more security measures but other than that its a great school.

Very unhappy with our experience here. We loved Henry Clay but Gandy does not offer the same level of nurturing or care for students. Teachers are still there who should've retired years ago (or should never have been teachers in the 1st place). Those teachers are horrible to the students and detrimental to the development our children. Instead of being disciplined or fired, these teachers are allowed to continue to treat children and adults terribly. The school is old, rundown, and unsafe. We are trying to buy a house in a different part of town simply so that we can avoid Gandy for our other children. It's even worse if you have boys, they are expected to behave at a much more mature level than they are developmentally capable of, they aren't allowed to play sports at recess, they are punished for every display of typical boy behavior. All of the teachers here are female and apparently have no idea how to understand adolescent boys, while girls are allowed to get away with bullying, rudeness, and equally distracting behaviors.

Love this school! The teachers actually care about the students and work hard to help them learn.

Just moved here a couple months ago and my son's grades have improved greatly. He loves this school and so do I!!!!

Great School. Love it . Henry Clay and Gandy are sister schools. They support one-another. They do a outstanding job together. Gandy is such a fun school. Outside and about campus. Outstanding leadership with our Principal. Teachers have sooo much energy and you can feel it as you walk the campus. The kids love to learn and have a great time doing it in so many different and fun ways.
