Great school. Leadership and academics are top notch. Best elementary school in Ashburn! My kids enjoy being a student @Belmont Station Elementary. Teachers are all kind and caring.

The principal and assistant principal are not invested nor competent enough run the school. Bullying is a serious problem, but it's not being addressed nor dealt with according to LCPS standards. 5th grade teachers are absolutely useless to deal with any behavioral issues. No accountability!

This was a great school at one time. There is bullying amongst teachers as well amongst student. The troublemaker bullying kid is given 10 mins of extra recess time if he behaves in the morning and is able to choose a playmate. He picks the kid he wants to bully and the teacher watching them is busy watching her phone while the bullying continues in the playground. Many times and many parents have complained to no avail. The principal and vice principal give lip service as they cant be bothered. There is no home work the kids are treated to recess after recess. The principal is a joke who arrives later than the students. LCPS is a joke and has ignored the issues this school has. Most teachers though are great teachers and want the best for their students and are concerned on what they learn and how they learn. Some though are there to get a pay check. The best thing I did was to pull my kid off this school and send him to a different school. The Admin staff though are great and seems over worked. I was happy to live next to this school and still am but the main reason we never moved was the school. Now there is no reason to stay in Ashburn.

5th grade teachers did not want to be there. Their interaction with students and parents were dismissive, uninterested, uninspired, dismissive, even annoyed or hateful. There is so much bullying going on, it's horrendous.Openly widespread expression of hate and harassment is a daily occurrence and the normal way of school life. Teachers openly lignore the issues or discount the severity and the extend of it as they are absolutely uninterested in their jobs and act as if they are just there for a paycheck. The leadership is at best mediocre. It was a painful year. I'm glad we are out.

sexist bullying is a huge problem in BeST , the girls are always being criticized for their imperfections, while the boys are praised for it. it's not fair. fix it now, please!! being in the 5th grade was not easy, i'm so happy to leave this school, if it even is one.

Administration discriminates against special education students. Their previously raved about teachers are leaving and the new ones being hired Are just as bad as the new administration. Many parents in the area are able to afford outside tutoring, which is why the test score are still high. Otherwise, the school ratings would be lower.

BeST is truly an amazing school. My daughter was a student from K-3 there and had a wonderful experience. The teachers are AWESOME! My daughter has special needs and the teachers helped her overcome so many hurdles. They challenged her to reach her full potential while at the same time letting her shine by enhancing her strengths. The secretaries are very helpful and informative. The Principal & VP are actively involved with the students. We are so fortunate to have had our daughter be a student at BeST and will forever be thankful for everything.

We are so glad we decided to take the special permission option and move our child to Belmont Station Elementary. The teachers are flexible, thoughtful and work together as a team, to ensure continuity of knowledge ! We can't wait for our younger one to get the special permission next year and start KG in this school!

Couldn't have asked for a better environment for learning. Both my children attended Belmont Station and loved every minute of it. If your looking for a place that prepares for advancement and stresses education, look no further.

We are so glad that we had our child move to BeST through the special permission program. It has been a wonderful experience and journey both with academics and extra curricular. BeST is the only Blue Ribbon awarded elementary public school in Loudoun county and it is very obvious why, when you see your child thrive at the school.

I have two kids in Belmont Station and have found it to be an excellent school. The administration and teachers are dedicated and expect excellence, and the children rise to meet those expectations. The PTA is very active and offer many opportunities to volunteer. It is truly a community, with a number of activities that are now traditions and to which our kids look forward every year. My only criticism would be the focus on testing, but that is how schools are evaluated, so it's hard to fault the teachers and the principal for that focus. That concern is tempered by the many creative ways that different concepts are taught (history fairs, the school garden, etc).

We moved here a year ago and my son has had nothing but the BeST experience at Belmont Station. He loves going to school. The staff is energetic, enthusiastic, and driven toward teaching the children and you can tell they care! It's a great school. Also, Belmont Station was just named a Blue Ribbon school. This is given by the US Dept. of Education to very few elementary schools that are high performing or have improved student achievement to high levels. Proud that my son is a part of the BeST community!
