My daughter goes to Arris and we are very happy with it. She used to get very stressed out at her old school and over stimulated. Arris is great about perfecting the art of freedom within limits. Montessori was not intended to be complete and total freedom, that would be chaos (according to Maria Montessori). It must be a very structured environment in order for freedom to be able to occur, the child must be set up for success in their environment. I feel that the Lead teachers are very knowledgeable and experienced in this area, you can tell the moment you enter the school that the students are confident in what they are doing. Arris has been great, academically for my daughter and we look forward to kindergarten here.

My child is in his 3rd year at Arris Montessori Academy and has had an overall positive experience so far. He has come a long way emotionally and academically since he has been there and we look forward to enrolling him in Kindergarten at Arris next year!

I don't understand all of these reviews, must be coming from some of their favorite people, or the people who work for them. This school is not what these people are saying; it is not a Montessori method at all. That is why they have such small number of enrollments, please be very careful before choosing this school. The teachers are not aware of Montessori method, and they give punishments to kids like timeouts, yelling etc. They would be very nice when you go for the tour, but when you are actually in school you will be very surprise. Stay away from this school, if you are looking for your kids to have an authentic Montessori program.

Arris Montessori Academy is a great school. They offer a mixed aged group elementary edcuation for first to third graders. The class sizes are small and the attention that the teacher is able to provide each student because of this is excellent. I would highly recommend this school to anyone who thinks their child would thrive in a Montessori environment.

This is a wonderful Montessori whose teachers are very warm and give 110% to their students. My son has been at this school for 2 years and will remain at Arris until there are no more grade for him to attend! We would not want him to be anywhere else. It has been an exceptional fit for our entire family.
