This school only caters to Spanish speakers or Hispanics. My son went to kindergarten and first grade and didn’t learns anything. He is so far behind it crazy. All the teachers have a heavy accent. So it makes reading a writing almost impossible. He was spelling his sight words the way she was pronouncing it and then she would mark it wrong. The sign in front of the school is in Spanish. And when the automated call comes around you can’t understand because it’s either in Spanish or a heavenly accent. Definitely the worst school in DFW.

I have had 4 kids go through this school over a 14 year period. My youngest started his last year recently. This has been, BY FAR, the worse year yet. This school used to be a top rated school, and so welcoming to families and parents. This new Principal refuses to allow parents into the building and won't allow parents to lunch with their kids. I'm told 80% of the staff is new. There is NO organization and horrible policies being implemented. If you are considering this school, DONT. we used to love it here, not any more. My son "HATES" it there and begs me to home school. Oh, and do not expect any help from AISD administration or Board... up to now, they simply ignore you and want to point fingers at you for being upset over problems they created. I HIGHLY recommend AGAINST this school

My daughter has built lasting relationships with her teachers and friends at Bebensee. It has been heartwarming to see the librarian notice her book favorites and bring her books specially for her, to have the the specials teachers know by name and conversate with her, to have her teachers welcome her and encourage her talents. To us, this is what makes Bebensee a great school, the caring people that interact with my child on a daily basis!

I'M ONLY RATING THIS SCHOOL A 1 BECAUSE THEY WON'T LET ME RATE LESS. This school is the worse I have ever seen. My child is only in Kindergarten and has been hurt by other children on several occasions. The school has never called, text or even sent a note home to inform me of these incidents. The only time they have sent a note home one of the times she got hurt was when she hit her head on the ground. I don't know about other parents but if my child hits her head on the ground I want more than a stupid note informing me of this, you need to call parents to let them know! Then TODAY my daughter came come with her dress ripped up and again no call, text or note about how this happened. DO NOT SEND YOUR CHILDREN TO THIS SCHOOL!!!!!!!

Bebensee is where my Grandchild goes and just loves it. She is learning so much and the teachers get them excited to want to learn.

This school is terrible all they do is teach kids how to take the State test their only goal is to boost those state scores. My daughter hated it here and she didn't learn a thing. Stay away if you can unless you wanted a frustrated child.
