Leadership at the school is nonexistent. They allow bullies to take away from learning for other students until parents have to complain. Support and instructional staff are lazy and don't want to deal with students.

My two children attend school here and they love it. They have great family engagement activities, and everyone is so sweet! I'm happy with progress my kids have made at Ashworth Elementary.

We love Ashworth!! My daughter has really blossomed here. Her teacher was attentive, kind and taught her so much. Mrs Maddux, Mrs Anderson and Mr H are all very involved, very knowledgeable and hands on.

This school does not take any action against bullying. My grandson does not feel at peace when going to Ashworth Elementary. Shame on this school for protecting bullies!!!

This school does not protect their students from bullies. They don’t want to take action against bullies making my child feel very very unsafe! AISD needs to look into this school as they have been deleting all reviews exposing them!!

Awful school when it comes to discipline. They protect bullies and made my nephew feel unsafe to go back to school. I don’t recommend this school if you want your child to learn in a comfortable environment. Avoid avoid avoid.

Well, as a student who used to go there for 8 years, I have to say, the principles and AP's were very different from each other. The teachers there were great but what took it down the most was definitely the principles and assistant principles. I had the principal and vice-principal before Guy and Hill and all the AP's after that just went in a downwards spiral. Besides that, I think that they should care more about certain things going on inside the school. I know that bullying was a big thing while I was there but it was overlooked. The only thing said was "hey, let him play with you guys, I know you guys might not like him but just do it please". I had to earn my respect through the students on my own. Overall, I guess the school was alright and now there is yet a new principal and vice-principal that I've never heard or seen in person (will see them soon through volunteering). I hope things are better now than they were back then since bullying is really looked out for now and I wonder if the teachers that I had been doing well. Some of them shared similar interests with me and actually cared about our personal feelings and things (some quit because of the lack of discipline and low amount of respect that they got from the students). Thank you for reading and have a good day.

Awful. Glad I do not have to hear Patrick Guy and Angela Eaton's names ever again. Very biased principal's. Previous administration was 1,000 times better.

The leadership from all the staff is amazing! My son loves going to school there. He was struggling in math and the teacher offered to help him every morning before school and help after school as well so he could have the one on one time. This school is beyond amazing and from my experience really loves and cares for my child.

Discipline in this school is nonexistent! The teacher turn over ratio is ridiculous! If your kid is a trouble maker or a bully this is the perfect school for you! There are no repercussions for those kids at this school! Honestly, this school is not as awesome as some of the past reviews would make it seem! PTA Is the worst ever!! This school needs new administration!!

The Teachers and Principal/Nurse are just as much as bullies as the children can be. Sad thing in they're supposed to be professionals! Emotionally draining to have students here.

My Grandson is now in his 6th grade at Ashworth Elementary and he seems to be happy with his teachers. I am very impressed with the Principal and Asst. Principal, they are good with the children and consider of the parents feelings and questions. Always eager to help with any situation. The PTA is one of the best I have worked with and I have worked with quite a few. The teachers and everyone at Ashworth make you feel welcome when going in the school.

This school SUCKS!!! Terrible terrible school. Only good thing is the kids...The staff does not take your kids into consideration health or safety wise. They are always yelling and some staff i have seen make fun of the kids!! Very unprofessional. I cannot wait to have this school investigated. My children come home emotionally abused everyday. Now i sit up there with them just to make sure they are ok! Ridiculous, no trust for people anymore. We moved to this school cause it was supposed to be a good school. HA!

Been an over all stressful and disappointing experience. They handle things really wrong. They don't tell parents things they should and much of the staff talks down to you. My son with ADD is singled out by his teacher often my other way beaten on at the play ground and they never called me and many times I've come home in complete tears. Will be happy when we move.

I have worked at other schools in the district and I am amazed at how Ashworth goes above and beyond to make each child successful. Until now, I have never been to a school where the principal and asst. principal are out front and greeting students in the morning and right back at it in the afternoon helping students get to their vehicles safely. They take the time and form relationships with students. They have a true desire to make the students feel special and important. The teachers work hard to have a family atmosphere. They take the time to teach each student at their level. Ashworth is truly an AMAZING school! So proud to call it my home.

I love Ashworth Elementary. I think it is the best school in Texas. I transferred my son here 4 years ago after discovering what a great school this was. My husband and I have discovered that the teachers go above and beyond what they are required to do in order for the kids to be successful. The kids love it here. Academics are stressed as well as making the learning environment fun. I am glad that I made the decision to transfer my son here. I would recommend this school to anyone with kids K-4 through 6th grade. They will be well prepared for junior high.

Ashworth Elementary received the highest test scores possible on the Texas State Assessments for the 2014-2015 school year. We received 6 out 6 distinctions for math, reading, and science! The individualized teaching our students receive and the high quality of teachers make the difference for our school. Ashworth Elementary was the only elementary school in the DFW area to receive this honor. Here is some fun data regarding our teacher's retention rate: 0-5 years 33% 5-10 years 34% 10-19 years 33% Teachers, thank you for teaching at Ashworth!

Ashworth is an Amazing school. I have 3 children and they all have received a remarkable education at Ashworth. My daughter currently attends the pull out dyslexia program that has been a tremendous help for her. Ms. Harris and all the staff at Ashworth really care about their students.

This is the best school in Arlington, Texas. The building is just brick and mortar. But the faculty, staff, kids, and everyone involved in this school are a family. The kids are the No. 1 concern. The people in this building go over and beyond everyday. It is the most positive, upbeat school in Arlington. Every resident and Arlington should strive to get their children in this school.

This school use to be top notch. I am not impressed with the education offered at this school anymore. Communication is lacking between teachers and parents. The atmosphere is so negative! Too many rude Teachers/staff in this school. It also seems like they can't keep teachers here. I keep looking for the revolving door this school must have put in! A few years ago the entire 3rd grade team left! This year, my child's teacher never return from winter break. Parents were never informed or given an explanation! My child hates going to school! If you want a good school, where you know your child will receive the best education available, look else where!
