This is the worst school ever. The ratings they gave for this school is probably the biggest lie ever. This school should be a 2 out of 10 school

We have dealt with continuous bullying for 2+ years with administrators doing little to nothing. They suggested we go private. A lot of talk about taking bullying and anxiety and depression seriously but little follow through. Kid labeled “troublemaker” for reporting things. This is an example of trickle down working. When administration bullies, it trickles down to the entire system. Maybe they are simply being bullied themselves by the State of Texas. I have also heard members of staff state they couldn’t get teachers to work because of a labor shortage. To be clear there is not a labor shortage, there is a living wage shortage. Some of the teachers hired this year are not quality educators. We have a bright, responsible, all-region kid whose confidence has plummeted after attending this school. This is a shame for academia.

There is constant bullying and nothing is done about it by the teachers. You never feel safe because you know no one is ever going to stop a bully here. I had a few classes were the teacher didn’t seem to ever actually teach us anything. Also most of the kids are mean. I couldn’t go thru a month without all my folders and like 50 pencils being ruined by other kids. The one plus is the athletics are amazing. Some people would love it. But if you kid has trouble fitting in, then I would not recommend it.

Honestly the whole academic thing being good is a lie. This school sucks at their academics and the teachers are the main part. It also has very little curriculum compared to other schools and is just good for sports in 4 a don’t recommend.

There is a very rude lady that works in the office and things only get worse from there. Admin and most teachers do not care about the individual students.

Administration at this school is not engaged. The bullying is out of control and goes unpunished. My child refused to return to this school because my calls to the school admin were never returned. Trying to work with the counselor related to 504 plan or class placement was horrible experience. I would not recommend this school or district.

Needs better communication with parents about student and grades and how we can do to help.

After my son was diagnosed with Aspergers twice, the administration refused to accept his diagnoses and he was refused services. My son and I both were bullied by the administration, as well as some of the teachers. As a result, my son went into a depression and I had to pull him out of school completely until he recovered. I would never recommend this school for any special needs student.
