Bach is the best elementary school in the city, not only evidenced by high scores you seen on rating sites, but because the teachers and leadership are so engaged with families. The negative ratings here do not in any way match anything I have seen. The negative ones seem to mention a former principal. Bach is the best.

We love Bach! My daughter is in 3rd grade and has been blessed with amazing teachers here. The community is also very supportive.

Worst ever if you want to be in a compassionate, caring, kind school where kids are taught to treat others kindly. Literally worst school in the city.

We do not live in the Bach neighborhood and visited a lot of schools before making the choice to attend Bach. Our children have both flourished at Bach and can't imagine going anywhere else.

Horrible school! If your kid have problems with learning, school would not going to help you!The principle Mrs. Epler is never going to support you! Please keep your children away from this horrible school. They just want your money, donations but would never care for your child!!!!!

Mrs. Alison Epler is difficult to get along with. In various dealings we found her to be overly strong willed and not able to let experts lead that could hold skill sets she doesn't have. Even when experts suggest the best path forward, she chose her own path as best. I found it challenging to work with her.

What a great school! We moved our child to Bach from a local private school and we couldn't be happier with the Bach teachers & administrators (and students and parents). There is a great community spirit at Bach, and the classroom teacher has worked hard to generate an atmosphere of kindness, respect and inclusiveness (the school does this well too). Our daughter has had the opportunity to develop new leadership skills (as a playground monitor and rotating through the school performing various jobs on the "service squad," and she (someone who has excelled academically) has been challenged in her school work. There have been wonderful educational class trips too! (to correct an earlier post, Bach does now participate in the Science Olympiad)
