This school is the worst I have ever seen in my life, my daughter was beaten and sent to the hospital in this place, there are multiple fights and the police know about this, they even have a page on instagram with thousands of fights and videos of the horrible bullying that the children live in this school, the TEACHERS do nothing, WITH THE PRINCIPAL I COULD NOT SPEAK ONCE AFTER WHAT HAPPENED TO MY DAUGHTER, the counselor, they do not exist here!!!!! The only one who saves herself from this sack of good-for-nothings is a directive who really loves her profession, Melody, she is the only one who really has passion for education, but of the rest. Please don't think about sending your children here I beg you, I wish someone would have told me about this before, this school is hell for the children, and a waste of time for the education of this country.

This was a ok school but the school is more focused on passing students rather than teaching them. Teachers were also too strict and didn’t care about the students well being.

I have two children currently at American Fork High School and while high school is still high school, I am beyond impressed with the teachers and administrators at this school. I feel like we hit the jackpot when it comes to a public school that offers incredible extracurricular activities, really phenomenal teachers, and different electives and CTE pathways for all kinds of students. My one concern (and I believe it’s something that they’re aware of and working on) is making sure the school is a safe and supportive environment for ALL students, regardless of race, gender, orientation, and ability.

The school is just focused on passing students rather than actually teaching them.

It was a great experience for me as a parent and my children who attended. Each became fluent in another language because of the great teachers in that department. I am very grateful for the education my children received and experience my children had at American Fork High School. Thank you Alpine School District.

Horrible! Both my kids belittled because they didn’t belong to the Mormon church.

I get stabbed with a fork every day by the guy who dresses as a fork and he should be the mascot.

The majority of faculty seem to be sincerely concerned about my child's success and doing well in their classes. The school is very big and students education and development needs may get lost on administrators. specifically unimpressed with the administrations concern for budget needs as it relates to technology in a classroom (something was broken and needed replaced) and the administrator stating they could not help a student because if they did, they would not have the funds for the other issue. The student had a state approved development plan to adjust some resources - WHICH PLAN AND RESOURCES HAD ALSO BEEN APPROVED BY THE SCHOOL DISTRICT!

I loved American Fork High school. It has a really good atmosphere and feel to it. The student body is friendly, the teachers help those who want to learn and it's just an overall fun high school to be at. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a good high school to go to.

The Best School Ever, They Care about the students and that they graduate, they care about your education and what best for you, Im glad that i was able to graduate, they do need to work on the Counseling Department, some of the Counselors they seemed like they didn't want to help the student with graduating, they need to stop making students pay for their Transcripts, they used to send them to the school and give you your transcript but now you have to pay. but in all they are the best school out there

We relocated to Utah, my son is a senior this year with very good grades at his previous school. Back there, only 24 credits were required to acquire an advance High School Diploma. Here at American Fork HS, the standard diploma requires 28 credits for graduation leaving students that come from other states with no other choice but to accept a mediocre diploma with a "mark on it" basically stating they did not meet the credit requirements for graduation along with a "differentiation at the graduation ceremony" as they call it, held at the same time in front of the fellow classmates who received the 28 credit standard. To top it off, the diploma won't state a home school, rather it will say it was given from the school district. My personal experience is that students get discriminated here if they are from another state which holds other requirements however, students are still able to graduate with honors in that state. But instead of taking in consideration of these students good characteristics and hard work in the past, they demean their abilities and hard work that they had put in at other schools making them believe they are not good enough for future education.

We are new to this area and live in Lone Peak boundaries. After talking to many other parents and students, we chose to send our children to American Fork High. So happy with our decision. Teachers and counselors couldn't be more helpful and the student body seems very welcoming and friendly. My kids are excelling in challenging classes and thriving at tjs school.
