- Submitted by parent on September 12, 2024Honestly, it’s disgraceful how this elementary school operates compared to others. The principal’s draconian methods are more suited for a middle school, and the young children are treated like prisoners. The teachers are utterly incapable of managing the children’s emotions, often resorting to harsh punishments instead of providing support. The environment is suffocating, with no room for creativity or play. The only thing they manage to do right is teaching them how to read, but even that is overshadowed by the oppressive atmosphere.
- Submitted by parent on May 09, 2023This school should be a zero rating, starting with the principle. She is in no way supportive and has failed and done a great diservice to her students. She is unable to have any repor with the parents. She complains about the parents but then backtrack and says she knows nothing about the situation. My daughter specific teacher told my daughter to get over it that she wouldn't die after my daughter fell. Profesional no this principle and first grade teacher are no where near. I hope no parent would put their child through the traumatized that is willow Vista elementary.
