My daughter only attended this school for 1 year, as a 6th grader. However, the dedication and care of a couple of her teachers undoubtedly propelled her. When she arrived at the school she was falling behind in reading and math. She didn't love reading and she wasn't confident in her math skills. This school not only taught her note-taking, organizational and study skills, but the math teacher took extra time to work with her one-on-one, and the reading teacher made reading exciting and fun. The result is a now 9th grader who is confident in her work, has had straight A's since 7th grade, and LOVES reading and writing. Even 1 year made all the difference for her and I will be forever grateful for that opportunity.

Ascension has been exactly what our family needed. Our children have thrived here. They are afforded all of the opportunities of a large school with a small school atmosphere. We feel like they are seen and heard here.

Ascension Academy has been a great school for my child’s education. From the moment we enrolled, we noticed a remarkable difference in his academic growth and development. The school’s commitment to providing a challenging and stimulating environment has truly had a positive impact. The teachers at Ascension are exceptional. They go above and beyond to ensure each student is engaged and inspired to reach their full potential. Beyond academics, the friendships that have been cultivated have been invaluable. The school fosters a close-knit community where students support and encourage each other. The extra-curricular activities offered have been a fantastic addition to the experience. Being a part of the school orchestra has allowed him to explore his passion for music, while the basketball team has taught him the value of teamwork and discipline. I highly recommend Ascension Academy. The school’s dedication to providing an exceptional education and campus experience is commendable.

Ascension Academy has been a wonderful school for my daughters. Already coming from a different private school to Ascension Academy has been a great transition for them including us a family. The challenge for them has already taught them the responsibility to be productive and organized with their school studies and homework. They have learned to challenge themselves socially and academically. The teachers have been very helpful with any questions they may have within their studies. The investment and opportunities we provide for our kids have turned positive in some many levels with their confidence and self esteem. We are extremely excited to see what the future will hold for them and we as parents are ready to go on this wonderful adventure with them.

Best school in the area, hands down. Three students have attended here. Two have succeeded above and beyond, they were prepared for college. We still have our last child there. She is a hard worker that is happy, involved and has become the most social, outgoing young lady. When she entered middle school at Ascension she was quiet and shy, she has been able to be involved in so many clubs and activities at school, as well as that the support of her teachers and friends. The teachers and Administration are great, and truly care about the students. We have enjoyed our time at Ascension Academy, and highly recommend it.

I am an alumni parent whose daughter attended Ascension for all seven years (6-12). The academic programs at Ascension are the top tier in our area, without a doubt. My daughter had many choices for her college path, and all of them with significant scholarships. What I most appreciated about her time at Ascension was the personal growth I saw in her. She is a reserved and introverted young lady by nature, but with the many leadership opportunities she had, I watched her become very comfortable in many key roles over the years and blossom in those environments. Her teachers were caring and supportive and always went the extra mile to help her and her peers, as they navigated not only their academics but also their extra-curricular responsibilities. As parents, we had many opportunities to get to know each other and come together to support the school and our kids.I highly recommend Ascension for a student who wants to work to be the best version of themselves, with many opportunities to grow as a young person preparing for life on their own in college!

Save your money! The local public schools are much better than this school.

Worst private school ever! Horrible bullying, woke administration, negative environment, terrible sports, no lunch options, unfriendly staff, parents and students. Do NOT recommend.

This school has a varied social structure which has four key elements of the future of success for your child. 1) many students attending have their parents as administrators. 2) social standing is key to success if you are in a professional capacity. 3) volunteering in any capacity is necessary. 4) asked to donate $1,500 is a requested addition to tuition fees. If you or your student does not fit into any of the above then they will not do well at this school. There are five administrators who should not be allowed to be in charge of any students and if one complains in any regard nothing will be done. After living in four states this school was the worst experience ever. High star reviews were asked by the school as a method of gaining a mark down tuition fee. This is typical of the way that the administrators operate.

I love this school because it is the best fit for my son and he is thriving a lot better than he did in public school because the administration and teachers understand him. They are very helpful in any way you need help in order to keep your child enrolled on their campus because they really wanna see your child reach their fullest potential while they are students there. Many of the senior class are dual graduates as they have graduated with both an Associate's Degree from Amarillo College as well as their high school diploma within weeks of each other.

This is the best school in the Panhandle. Transitioning from Public school to private school had its challenges. All teachers and fellow students made it easy and welcoming. He found friends for life and enjoys going to school. His teachers are 5***** and help him grow into a fantastic future.

Ascension puts academics first. There are sports and student organizations, but they do not overshadow academics. Students are held to a high but reasonable standard of academic performance and discipline. Students are polite and respectful. Creativity is valued. It's a small, close-knit school community. Teachers know who all the students are, even students who are not in their classes. Parent involvement is encouraged, but volunteer hours are not required (nor is donation in lieu of volunteering). I am a parent volunteer, helping weekly at the lunchtime snack bar, interacting with students and seeing their good behavior firsthand. All races, religions, and income levels are welcome (there is financial aid for low-income students).
