This was an excellent school. Both my children attend 5th and 6th grade there. The teachers are willing to work with you if your child needs help. Even during Covid-19 they were able to offer safe classes in person and they offer free lunch and breakfast . I cannot say enough great things about the superintendent. You can tell he really cares about the students. The only things I didn’t like is only certain students were offered art and they only chose certain students to be on the archery team despite some students being better or allowing students to try out outside of gym class. For the amount of activities offered at the school it is an excellent choice.

I would highly recommend this school to any family, but especially military families. We love the sports, archery program, and academic team. My family has traveled all over the world and my kids have attended many different DoD schools.

Horrible. We would not recommend this school to any military families.

I might be being a little generous here, but having our third kid go through this school, it has gotten better. Kids bounce between three different teachers throughout the day. Historically we've had one outstanding teacher, one okay teacher and one I didn't really care for. Generally not bad though. The big problem here is that all the kids around town merge here at 5th grade and it takes a year or so to weed out the bad apples which is more a function of the people in this town than the elementary schools. The school is in the process of moving to IPads and although there have been some hiccups with this, it should be better off in the long run and keep things more current. Since test scores are so important, it seems like they spend too much time prepping for tests-especially since you have to deal with the kids that are behind and have issues at home that prevent them from being the citizen and student they should be. Communication with parents is not the best-this is district-wide, but this school is the worst by far. This school does have one good thing going for and that is the music program. It by itself deserves 5 stars.

Kids don't get help as needed by the teachers. Not enough books for all kids either.
