My 3 daughters attended AES. No school is perfect but I found majority of faculty genuinely concerned with student overall well being as well as education.

We have two kids at Altavista Elmentary School. We moved here in 2014 and my children began their schooling in 2015. We have had nothing, but great experiences with the teachers and faculty here. Our kids have showed a phenomenal improvement over the last two years. The teachers are caring, passionate, and dedicated to the students. We are very pleased with this school. We also appreciate how welcoming teachers are to parent involvement in the classroom. It especially helps when you have shy, sensitive children that are trying to adapt to being away from their parents and in a classroom setting for the first time. It really calms a mother's nerves, to observe the classroom environment. Great job!

Incompetent. They have lost my kids on the bus. Teachers have doubled booked parent teacher meetings and blamed us. Overall teachers consistently cannot spell which is an embarrassment if you are a teacher.(or should be). My child hates going to school.

I am very upset with this school. I have a grandson that is disabled and they want him in normal classes and also he can not read and is suppose to be in 4th grade. He is in 3rd and has only a 1st grade reading level and only half way through it. I am upset that they pass him. It wont let me post unless i give it a star.
