My child has been attending this school for 4 years now and has had a difficult journey. We (parents) have advocated for her in many ways including paying for outside tutoring, asking for help from teachers, staff, principal, asst. principal and now we have her enrolled in the day treatment and title 1 program. We take extra time to study with her nightly and encourage good listening skills at school. We have her in outside counseling to help with self esteem and the bullying that continues to go on here, however, her grades continue to drop and noone in this school seems to care enough to offer her extra one on one time for learning. Now the problem I believe is that they have to wait until the afternoon to teach math, science and history and the time is limited. If there were more teachers implemented in this school to work more individually with children that have adhd such as mine they would succeed more and be more willing to come to school. I believe if these children had more time and one on one teaching they would see a tremendous improvement in there ability to retain the information and better test scores.Give them the funding for more adhd teachers Campbell County!

It's okay. One teacher in particular is sort of scary. She has been on health-related leave from time to time and the administration won't get rid of her.

I have had nothing but wonderful experiences with the facilty and the students it is a nice well rounded school and Mr. Shearer couldn't be a better principal. I have had 2 child that just started the middle school but did go hear and another who is attending now and one that will start in about 3 more years!
