I have a 3rd grader and 2nd grader at this school and they have been going here since kindergarden. Everything was ok until this year. My son started changing and stopped showing interest in school. Last year he had great grades and would be excited about learning new things and how he would do great on test, but this year his teacher was absent most of the year, he never had homework and said he wasn't able to meet his reading and math goals because his class wasn't given access to the computers. I went into the office to talk about my concerns, and they told me that his teacher was having problems and leaving and that they didn't have enough teachers to transfer her class to other teachers. I felt really upset because basically my son lost a whole year of education. I am looking into changing them to a different school. Most days I see kids fighting after school when I go pick up my kids and feel like its getting out of control.

My kids attend this school and I can honestly say the teachers are great. They have learned so much and have shown more interest in school since attending. Mrs. Chavez is a great principle always on top of everything. Very happy to have my kids at Ted Vick.

My child attended TED VICK for 7th and 8th grade. The teachers taught and I was happy to see my child do her homework and school work without me constantly telling him. There weren't many activities for Ms but it allowed my child to focus on academics. I was pleased with my child's growth for those two years

My son attended first grade here this year. After 5 months of being bullied and getting no help from the teacher, vice principal or the principal, he came home with a black eye and not one person contacted me to inform me because the teacher did not notice him come in from recess with a fresh black eye. There is a huge bullying problem at this school and no communication between staff. They brush everything under the rug until something like this happens. The principal has no records of any time she has met with me in regards to bullying and frankly, has no idea whats going on in her school. I pulled my son out so that he can get a decent education in a safe environment. Its no wonder this school has a 1 rating ans such low test scores. They do bare minimum. I fear for the other students there who are too afraid to speak up with parents that don't care. Put your child first and avoid this school.

My daughter attends Theo Vic and loves it! The teachers really care about the students. She had greatly developed in her education since attending this school.
