Unfortunately this school is located near the Section8 apartments which in my opinion is one of the biggest reasons why attendance and test scores are very low. The majority of students do not speak English and are in dual language classes. With the recent district school boundaries being changed for 2024/2025 school year, most classrooms are overcrowded with more than 24 kids per classroom. This school is also one of the smallest in the district and classrooms are smaller than most classrooms in other schools. Per each grade level there are 2 Spanish speaking classes and 1 English speaking. I truly hope this school will improve its test scores and the ASD4 district will do better supporting this school. It is obvious other schools in this district get better grades, much better parent engagement and potentially way higher funding. Focus on teaching these children English and help them accomplish great test scores and reach their full potential.

I have had 3 children who have went to Lincoln school... the teachers are great and are very dedicated to the students. The reason I find that they are getting a 3 rating is due to the language problem. Children are forced to take test by the state for the most part in English, thus leaving Spanish kids with low test scores. It is by no means the fault of the teaching staff! It is a beautiful school with caring teachers who do their very best to make it a positive learning enviroment. But parents due need to become more involved in the school!
