Fake all white school. Bunch of fake staffs with fake diversity. They don't care about nothing but themselves. Don't send your kids there.

My daughter just finished her second year at Stonegate. She went through a class that had 3 different teachers in one year, due to maternity leave and transitions. While I was disappointed as a parent, at first, the principal, teachers, etc. took it as an opportunity to teach kids about change. It was a smooth transition for my daughter. The parents were kept in formed all the way. Security measures are top-notch. To illustrate, kids leave their bikes against the bike parking structure unlocked (that could never happen at my school when I was growing up - my own bike was stolen that way when I was a kid). The PTO is amazing. They keep all parents informed, coordinate volunteers, and organize events and fundraising all year. One detail that really touched me: Connie Largent, the principal, knows my daughter by name. Hundreds of kids at this school, and she took me by surprise by calling my daughter by name when I attended school events or volunteered.

My children have had a great experience at Stonegate. They challenge the kids in a loving way so that everyone feels cherished and supported.

Great top ranked school district. Middle school starts at 5th grade in this district. Our oldest went to Stonegate and Zwest Middle. He transitions to ZCHS next year. There is growth primarily on the west side. This is causing the opening of another elemetary school on the west side of town near this one. Fortunately they gave the third graders the option to stay at Stonegate or move to the new school, Boone Meadow. Our middle child choose option of staying here for 4th grade next year. Our youngest will transition to Boone Meadow next school year. We are not worried - the principal of Stonegate was chosen to help open the new school. It really does not matter what school in the district, they are all 4 star schools. Just look at the ISTEP scores and you can see that. The entire district has very high parent involvement. Excellent high ability teachers. Can't give info on the special ed teachers. This school district is always one of the highest ranked school districts in the state. It is ranked national too. We are punished for that rank by getting the fewest dollars per child from the state of all the Indiana school districts. Expect your property taxes to reflect that disparity.
