don't get sick and don't take family vacations during the school year. Other wise the teachers and principle will accuse you of truancy. the teacher will give your kids extra homework when they're sick and expect you to pick it up the SAME day you call in sick for your child... if you refuse to pick it up that day you'll get a phone call from the principle like I did. when your child is sick with a high fever, they should be allowed to rest at home and not have to do home work until they return to good health! the other schools have to be better, its a teacher problem here at Lincoln 4th grade.......

This school needs some attention. The 4tg grade classes decide to have primary teachers and seperate math teachers. The idea is great, BUT the teachers are not on the same page. The students are getting inconsistent info from the teachers. Their primary teacher directs them to do one thing and the math teacher gives them an entire different goal which confuses the kids & and parents and results in confused kids, missing/late assignments and leaves them frustrated. School news letters are sent home with little info that pertains to the kids, lessons, or development for the week. Rather has info about teachers, librarians and janitors birthdays, the weekly fundraising (which is suppose to be eliminated since they have fitness frenzy, but in fact isn't) and a weekly lunch menu. If you want classroom info you have to join a blog or Facebook page? It's a joke. The entire dinamic of this school is comical and i will be pulling my kids from this school this upcoming semester. This school really needs to get back to the basics, the district and our children are suffering here!If you are looking for a great school in Zeeland, Quincy elementary is where you need to send your kids!

We love Lincoln elementary. The teachers and principal are all wonderful. Lincoln has a great character trait program and a winter walk program that our children have benefitted from. They also focus on fitness and healthy living by celebrating a fitness frenzy day every fall. It is used as a fundraiser without forcing the children to sell anything. We have been very happy with this school and both my husband and I are educators.
